The Raptors and Suns are both capable of getting big wins on Sunday, but teasing them together looks like a great play on Sunday. The Raptors are up against the Kings who may still be without Rudy Gay and coming off the back to back. The Suns are NBA Odds underdogs against a Lakers team who could easily have a letdown performance coming off their win against the Warriors.
One play we did get right on Saturday was the Bucks demolishing the Kings, who were without Rudy Gay. It looks like the Kings could be without Gay once more here on Sunday, which is bad news for their chances against the Raptors in this one.
Toronto is a -9 NBA Odds favorite coming into Sunday night's game and if Gay misses, the Raptors could easily cover that play alone. However, to make it safe, I am incorporating a five-point teaser to move them to -4. The Raptors have one of the hottest players on the planet right now in DeMar DeRozan and even with their recent injuries, they should overcome that and beat down Sacramento if Gay misses again.
For the other side of this one, I am going to the late game between the Suns and Lakers. Los Angeles' win against the Warriors was impressive, but I fear that one game was enough to make them overvalued on their very next contest against a Suns team that has bee consistently undervalued this season.
I am tempted to take the points with Phoenix, but a teaser play along with the Raptors looks like our best bet of the night. Teasing the Suns to +7 ½ against the Lakers is a steal for several reasons. LA's young team could easily have a letdown after that Warriors win, the Suns have looked really good this season. Phoenix is already 4-2 ATS this season and they have played the Warriors and Thunder to single digits this year.
