The Kings have been playing pretty well, but the Cavaliers are coming of two straight losses and people are starting to talk. I think all that talk should stop, as Cleveland is going to come out swinging and cash its first-half NBA odds Friday night.
The Cavaliers have lost two straight, there is talk on whether Kyrie Irving is elite and we are once again talking about teams that could potentially stop the Cavs from getting into the NBA Finals a third straight year. While all this is going on, the Cavs are probably stewing after their last loss and ready to take it out against the Kings.
Sacramento's defense is pretty atrocious, and even against the defending champions the Cavaliers are the ones who should come out with energy. The Kings have been playing pretty good lately, but the Cavs will not want to lose three straight and will hit the Kings in the mouth for this one.
With NBA odds for the first-half spread at only -3 at several shops, the Cavs might be a great play on that number. As long as Ty Lue and LeBbron James can get the team back on track, look for them to cover the first-half number.
