Lebron's Featured On Monday's NBA Playoff Prop Betting Picks

With the blowout in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals, we cashed one out of our two prop picks. We are back for Game 4 of the East with two NBA Props Picks.

Cavaliers Team Total O/U 101.5
The Cavaliers finally lost a game in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Despite playing well throughout the playoffs, both Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving had awful games against the Raptors in Toronto. While Lebron James was the only Cavalier to have a solid Game 3, there were other factors that affected this one. After playing relatively fast in the first two games of the series, the Raptor slowed the pace down to one that they were more comfortable with, at les than 85 possessions per 48 minutes. This helped their defense a lot, and it hurt the Cavaliers on offense, as they posted an Offensive Rating under 100 for the first time in the playoffs.

However, both Cavaliers stars are not going to shoot that badly again, and I think Cleveland is going to bounce back in a big way in Game 4. That being said, they have been putting up a ton of points in the playoffs, and after getting beat down in Game 3, bet365 sportsbook has discounted their team total way too much. At only 1011/2 on NBA odds, I am running to take the over on Cleveland's team total as my NBA pick in this one.

They have an Offensive Rating for the playoffs of 118.5, and even if they only get to around 90 possessions in this one, that would still put their points for Game 4 around 106 or 107. As long as they don't have another poor shooting performance, which I doubt they will, take the over with their team total. I see them getting the pace of Game 4 back up to their liking, and not playing down or relaxing after getting blown out.

Will Lebron James Record a Double-Double
The good thing about the Cavs getting blown out in Game 3 is that there is almost a sure fire guarantee that they will come back swinging in Game 4. That means more of Lebron James, who Ty Lue said he wanted to get more involved in Game 4. What's good about that and for this prop is that means he isn't just going to be scoring, he is going to be assisting as well.

While most of James' double-doubles came via points and rebounds in the first couple of rounds, he is still very capable of going a double-double with points and assists, which is what I think happens here tonight. The Cavs are more successful with Kyrie Irving playing off the ball and using his shooting ability, and letting James run the offense.

That doesn't mean Irving isn't going to get his chances to score, but running the offense trough James is almost always more beneficial to the Cavs' offense. I think James easily gets a double-double here in this one, whether it is with rebounds or assists. He has five games this postseason with double-digit rebounds, and two with assists, but I see him being a facilitator as much as a scorer in Game 4.
