This is a very friendly teaser slate tonight and it starts with the Pacers and Wizards. Both teams have been playing better, which could lead to some increased scoring. Along with the Bulls and Pistons, which should be the exact opposite of a game, leads to some strong teaser value.
The teaser value for tonight is strong and I am not missing out this time. We got beat out by the Grizzlies last night, but for tonight I am going right back to the well.
The first leg of this one is the Pacers and Wizards, who have both been finally started to play better.
Monta Ellis will be out again tonight, but the Pacers should be able to play some good defense against a Wizards team coming off a back to back.
Even with the Wizards playing better too, cashing and winning outright against the Clippers, this game's teaser value derives around the over. Teasing the total from 212 to 207 is the way to go tonight.
The Wizards have cashed the over in five straight games, they are 8-2 cashing the over on the road and they have cashed the over in all four of their games on no rest. In those four, they have allowed an average of 113.5 points.
On the next leg are the Bulls and Pistons, two teams trending in the wrong direction lately. However, the fact that this is a divisional game helps us out a lot when handicapping this game.
Both of these teams have struggled to score when playing teams from their division, averaging 92.7 and 96.7 points per game respectfully in Central Division games.
The Bulls offense has also been figured out lately, which is what I feared for this team before the season started. They have very little if any three-point shooting and their two big men can stretch the floor only about to the free throw line.
That makes defending them really easy. Packing the paint is surely going to be on Detroit's agenda tonight, meaning the under is a fine NBA pick for our teaser.
