David Goffin (11) vs. Grigor Dimitrov (15)

Despite losing the opening set, David Goffin matched our expectations with a solid victory over Dominic Thiem in the previous round. Known for his outstanding counter punching skills, Goffin proved to be too strong with Thiem clearly struggling to perform at a consistent level. Dominic's 45 winners and 58 unforced errors illustrate that while David ended the match with 38 winners and only 29 unforced errors. Besides his baseline consistency, Goffin also served at a very high level with 15 aces and winning 67.20% of the points played on his serve.

It has been a tremendous start of season for Grigor Dimitrov. After beginning the year with his 5th title in Brisbane, the Bulgarian is already in the Australian Open quarter-finals for the second time in his career. Looking now to Grigor's campaign in Melbourne, the world no.15 reaches this stage of the competition after defeating the surprising Denis Istomin by 2 – 6 7 – 6 6 – 2 6 – 1. It was far from an easy match however, Istomin ran out of gas after losing the 2nd set tie break.

This will be the 2nd career meeting between these two players with Dimitrov winning their previous at the US Open three years ago by 0 – 6 6 – 3 6 – 4 6 – 1.

Both players have been at a very high level and we can only expect a high-quality contest. Despite Dimitrov's winning streak in 2017, Goffin won't be an easy opponent for the Bulgarian. With this in mind, we recommend you to add David's spread to your betting picks in a match where a fifth set might be required to find the winner.

Rafael Nadal (9) vs. Milos Raonic (3)

After a very disappointing season with several early losses on Grand Slams, Rafael Nadal makes his return to the quarter-finals in major events. The Spaniard is slowly returning to his best level, emerging victorious from two very difficult matches against Alexander Zverev and Gael Monfils. Even though Nadal is famous for his outstanding defensive skills, the 2009 Australian Open champion has also been extremely consistent with his serve. Looking now to Rafael's numbers throughout this event, the former world no.1 won 91.50% of his service games in Melbourne.

The last couple of days haven't been easy for Milos Raonic with the Canadian suffering from fever and flu-like symptoms. Despite those problems, Raonic emerged victorious from his encounters against Gilles Simon and Roberto Bautista Agut – both in four sets. However, Milos was far from impressive on both matches, winning only 84.21% of his service games while his career average on Hard Court is 91.00%.

Despite Nadal's 6 – 2 lead on the h2h, Milos won their most recent encounter two weeks ago in Brisbane by 4 – 6 6 – 3 6 – 4.

This match takes place in the Rod Laver Arena in night session, which benefits Nadal since the game conditions are slower. Adding to this, Raonic should also struggle with the lower temperatures and higher humidity at night due to his health issues. Rafael clearly has the upper hand on a long match and we expect to see him emerging victorious at the end. Having said that, our suggestion is for you to take advantage of Nadal's betting odds by placing a bet on him to win this match.
