Stanford Cardinal player greeting their fans

Odds makers have a full slate of NCAAF games today, and here we look to exploit the weak lines in order to cash those tickets! Read on as I break down three games that will turn out to be profitable.

Washington State Cougars (2-2 SU, 3-1 ATS) vs. Stanford Cardinal (3-1 SU, 3-1 ATS)

This line has dropped like a rock. Stanford was originally installed as 12 ½ point home chalk and is now slated as only 6 ½ point favorites. That is one huge jump and now you are getting tremendous value on the home team. Having to lay under a touchdowns is phenomenal value and the reason bettors are high on the Cougars is because they rolled in their last game while the Cardinal were throttled. Stanford is a much better team than they showed last week in their loss to Washington on the road and will come home to wax the Cougars tonight.

Miami (OH) RedHawks (0-5 SU, 3-2 ATS) vs. Akron Zips (3-2 SU, 1-4)

Akron has won the last two games between these MAC rivals and once again the college football odds makers have installed them as the favorites in this matchup. But if you have been following the line in this game you will notice that the Zips have vaulted from 7 ½ point home chalk to -10 at most offshore sportsbooks. There is no doubt that Akron can score but this offense has been susceptible to turnovers. Akron has a total of 10 turnovers this season and this Miami-O defense has the chops to exploit that weakness and gain excellent field position for its offense.

Miami of Ohio is:

7-1 ATS in their last eight games following an ATS loss.

10-3 ATS in their last 13 games after garnering less than 100 yards rushing in their previous game.

6-2 ATS in their last eight games following a straight up loss.

7-3 ATS in their last 10 games overall.

Indiana Hoosiers (3-1 SU, 2-2 ATS) vs. Ohio State Buckeyes (4-0 SU, 2-2 ATS)

All seasoned gamblers understand the value of numbers like 3,4,6 and 7 in college and professional football. They are common numbers that often determine the margin of victory and can be critical in whether or not your college football picks (or NFL selections for that matter) are winners or losers. But those crucial numbers also extend to any value divisible by seven ( a TD and extra point) or anything that totals touchdowns (with extra point) and field goals.

I'm giving you this quick math primer because this line has dropped from OSU -32 all the way to the magical -28 (four TD's + extra points). The Buckeyes are big home favorites for a reason and many will give the Hoosiers some play because they are afraid the wise guys know something and that's why it is the "sharp side". But OSU is a huge favorite for a reason. They are the No. 2 ranked team in the nation and in college football, it's important to not only win but win by a lot if you want to move up in the rankings. We say the Buckeyes annihilate the overmatched Hoosiers here.
