It’s Week 5 of the NFL and we have value picks to offer you in some very appealing matchups. Sit back and let us put you on the plus side.
Denver Broncos (4-0)
at Dallas Cowboys (2-2)
This will be a very offensive oriented game as you have two
of the most productive quarterbacks in the last decade in the NFL in Peyton
Manning and Tony Romo.
For Manning, he could possibly be the best regular season
quarterback of all-time and at 37 years old, he’s only gotten better as his 16
TD’s and no interceptions indicate
through 4 weeks of play. As for Romo, he puts up big numbers, has some very
viable options in the trio of Dez Bryant, Jason Witten, and Miles Austin, but
there’s always something stopping him from winning the big game.
From the way that Dallas and running back DeMarco Murray
have played over the past couple of weeks, you would think that they’re a
winning team, but they’re just a .500 ball club. That said, the NFC East is the
weakest division in football and that puts the Cowboys in the thick of things.
This is game could be a huge statement if they could knock off the mighty
If Manning’s offensive line can do a decent job of keeping
defensive end ,DeMarcus Ware, in check, Denver will have a great opportunity of
knocking the Cowboys off at home. Thus far, Ware has 4 sacks on the season and
is always a quarterback’s worst nightmare.
Denver’s running game is their one weakness at this point,
but when a quarterback has such a wide array of receiving talent as Manning
does, it’s difficult for opposing teams to contain them, especially with
Manning’s leadership on and off the field. Denver is just too good and could be
looking at the Lombardi Trophy at the end of the season.

How Bad Are the
The New York Giants have had about as bad a start to the
season as a football team can have. They
have started out the season having been outscored 146 -61. Marred by off the
field tragedies, no running game, and a 2 time Super Bowl MVP quarterback that
has been committing turnovers at a rapid pace, New York needs this game bad.
As I’ve stated before, the NFC East is so weak that the
Giants are just 2 games out of first place with no wins on this season. What
does that mean? This game is relevant. One of these teams will either make up
ground or not lose ground against the division leading Cowboys.
After a beating of RG3 and the Washington Redskins,
the Philadelphia Eagles have been very disappointing, losing 3 straight games for our NFL Picks.
That said, the Eagles schedule has been difficult and after a 52-20 loss at Denver, it get’s much easier this week against the
Quarterback ,Michael Vick, has been very happy with the new
addition to the coaching staff in head coach Chip Kelly, but it hasn’t
translated to wins. Last Week, Denver proved that Philadelphia has a lot of
work to do and it wasn’t their former coach Andy Reid’s fault because Reid and
the Chiefs came into Philly and beat them.
One advantage in this game that Philadelphia has is their
running game. Even after a pedestrian-like 73 yards against Denver, McCoy has
rushed for 468 yards on the season. Philadelphia is ranked number 1 in the NFL
in rushing while the Giants rank 30th at just 57.8 yards per game.
David Wilson has been very disappointing and Brandon Jacobs has been a non-
Weather could be a factor in this game as it’s been overcast
in the NewYork/New Jersey Metropolitan area. A good running game could help.
This game will come down to “Can Eli Manning make the
necessary plays to win while avoiding turnovers?” Manning is known as the
quarterback that’s average for the first 57 minutes of a game, but you don’t
want anyone else behind center during crunchtime. Look for New York to pull out
a victory against a suspect Eagles defense at great betting odds.

New England Patriots
EV Over the Cincinnati Bengals
Tom Brady is starting to find a comfort zone with his
inexperienced receivers and was very impressive last week in a 30-23 win at
New York Jets +10.5
Over Atlanta Falcons
New York has no business being in this game as Geno Smith
has gotten his introduction into the NFL, but the Falcons haven’t been getting
off to the fast starts that they have in the past under Matt Ryan. Look for the
Jets defense to stand strong and for New York to stick around and keep this game close.
