The St. Louis Blues and Minnesota Wild are two of the hotter teams
in the NHL right now. On Sunday, one of them will get cooled off when these
sides go head to head for our NHL picks.
Contenders & Pretenders on the Stanley Cup Odds Boards
Louis Blues Can Win Because…
They’ve won four straight and are playing with a ton of confidence
right now. Since acquiring Ryan Miller, the Blues have won each of his four
starts while allowing a total of six goals in the process. More impressive is
the fact that three of those four games have come on the road.
The Blues are simply the team to beat right now and Minnesota
isn’t the ones that are likely to stop them. The Blues have already topped the
Wild twice this season, outscoring them 5-1 in the process. Take the Blues with
your sports picks as they’re on a hot streak.
Wild Can Win Because…
They’ve been playing really well. Although they lost last night in
Dallas, that was actually their first loss in six games. Their goaltending has
been airtight as they had allowed just six goals during their five-game winning
The Wild have been a quality team in 2014 as they are 14-5-2 this
year, producing 9.7 units of profits for bettors in that span. They’ll be in
their comfort zone on Sunday as they are 19-9 when at home with a total of
2013-14 NHL Stanley Cup Betting Futures
Both teams are in a back-to-back situation, but in my view, the
Blues are the best team in the NHL right now. I’m happy to take another shot
with them at a cheap price on the NHL odds. They’ve now won 17 of 18 against the division, are
8-3 when on the road with a total of five and have won seven of nine in this
series. I'll add them to my NHL picks here.
