The Iona Gaels have are 0-5-1 ATS in their last six games, with the ‘over’ going 4-2.  They host tonight’s MAAC battle against the Siena Saints, who are 1-8 ATS in their last nine contests.

Sportsbooks opened Iona as a 10 ½-point home favorite, while first setting the ‘total’ at 145 ½.  Early wagers on the Gaels and ‘over’ bumped the numbers up to 11 and 146 ½, respectively, on some NCAA Basketball odds boards. 

Siena SaintsThe Iona Gaels ended a four-game losing skid with Monday’s 85-67 win as an 18-point home favorite against the Manhattan Jaspers.  The Gaels drained 10-of-25 from three-point land, while outrebounding Manhattan, 36-27

Gaels forward Michael Glover notched team-highs of 20 points and 10 rebounds.  The junior added three blocks to his first double-double in four games. 

Glover’s mate Scott Machado logged a team-high 10 assists, while finishing with 14 points.  The junior guard hit 6-of-12 from the field. 

The lopsided affair’s combined 152 points soared ‘over’ the ‘total of 135 ½.  Both squads united to sink 27-of-35 free throws, while the Gaels held Manhattan to 42.9 percent field shooting. 

Iona moved to 6-2-1 ATS in its first nine home dates, with the ‘over’ lifting to 5-4.  Glover and Co. have put up 80.8 PPG in that span. 

The Siena Saints saw a three-game winning streak end with Monday’s 76-69 defeat as a four-point home favorite against the Loyola-Maryland Greyhounds.  The Saints outrebounded Loyola-Maryland, 36-19, but allowed the Greyhounds to connect 52 percent of their field buckets. 

Saints forward Ryan Rossiter recorded team-highs of 23 points and 20 rebounds.  The senior broke the 20-board barrier for the second time, while adding five assists. 

Siena’s O.D. Anosike and Rakeem Brookins united for 24 points.  Anosike hit 6-of-10 from the field, while Brookins connected 2-of-2 three-point shots. 

The contest’s combined 145 points jumped above the ‘total’ of 136 ½.  Siena logged a sizable 14 turnovers, while running into 10 blocked shots by Loyola-Maryland’s defense. 

The Saints are 6-5 ATS in their first 11 ‘board’ games away from home, with the ‘under’ also going 6-5.  Rossiter and Co. have allowed 68.7 PPG in opposing gyms. 

Their History

Siena is 4-0 ATS in its last four meetings against the Gaels, with the ‘under’ collecting at 2-1-1. 

The Saints won, 73-67, as three-point home dogs in last month’s clash between the foes.  Rossiter logged 26 points for Siena, who went 17-for-18 at the foul line.  Glover hit a perfect 7-of-7 from the field for Iona, finishing with 18 points and eight rebounds.
