See which NBA betting angles we like most for the Memphis Grizzlies' home clash with the Golden State Warriors tonight. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 with the Grizzlies getting the nod as 6 point favorites.

Memphis is currently holding the sixth spot in the Western Conference standings. They were tied with the Rockets and Nuggets, but Houston fell to Minnesota last night and we all know what happened to the latter.

It was quite a game between Memphis and Denver. The Grizzlies built a 17-point lead by halftime but slowly saw it slip away as the Nuggets mounted a spirited comeback. George Karl's team was about to walk away with a shock win, until Dante Cunningham made a tip-in with a second remaining to give the Grizzlies a thrilling 103-102 win.

A true team performance guided Memphis. Rudy Gay had 20 points, eight boards and six assists, Marc Gasol racked up 16 points, 14 rebounds and eight dimes, and Mike Conley, Tony Allen, Mareese Speights and O.J. Mayo all scored in double figures too.

Grizzlies favored in NBA odds

Rudy GayEarly NBA odds opened with the Grizzlies favored by 5.5 points on their home court, where they're 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games. Sports betting action has since moved the line up to six at most sportsbooks, where a total of 196 can also be found.

Golden State was thoroughly beaten last night, losing by 23 points to Kevin Durant and the Thunder. David Lee tore it up despite the loss, scoring 23 points while also grabbing six boards.

Make sure you check on Monta Ellis' status as tipoff approaches. He left last night's game early after hyper-extending his knee, and right now he's considered questionable.

Should Ellis miss out, Stephen Curry will be called upon to pick up some of the scoring slack, while it'd be pretty useful if Dorell Wright hit some shots too. It's going to be tough going up against a Memphis team that's 5-1 SU over their previous six.

The Grizzlies have been solid at home this season, going 11-5 SU. They've won four of their last five at FedEx Forum, covering the spread in three of those victories.

The Warriors meanwhile have really struggled on the road, winning only three of their 10 matchups away from home leading up to tonight.

However, my inclination is to consider a total play instead of a placing my NBA picks on this game's spread. I think this is a tough spot for the Warriors, but I fear the Grizzlies will be a little tired after last night's shenanigans, especially since they really only go seven deep.

Pushing The Pace

Stephen CurryThe last four times Memphis has hosted Golden State, the total has eclipsed 201. Included in there have been some incredibly high-scoring games that finished at crazy totals of 230, 229 and 227.

Also, the Warriors have been horrendous defensively on the road this season: they're allowing 103.0 PPG on average. Moreover, Golden State is ranked 26th in the NBA in defensive efficiency.

This one will come down to how Mark Jackson's club responds after two tough defeats in a row.

So long as the Warriors revert back to their offensive performances before their losing streak – they averaged 109.7 PPG in the six games prior – I think this one sails over the posted total.
