Which of tonight's matchups are we adding to our NBA picks?
seven games line the NBA schedule for Tuesday, so we must pick our spots
carefully when trying to find value amongst the NBA odds for today. I have a
strong feeling that the two NBA picks below hold some great value. Continue reading

Los Angeles Lakers vs Houston
care how bad the Lakers have been on the road this season; the Rockets are in
an incredible funk right now. Also, they will almost certainly be without their
starting backcourt once again. Without the services of Kevin Martin and Kyle
Lowry, the Rockets will be without a third of their offense. This spells bad
news when you’re trying to keep up with Kobe Bryant, Andrew Bynum and Pau
Lakers do hold a 9-14 SU record on the road and a 7-16 ATS record playing away
from Staples. This is why NBA lines makers have opened the lines so low at -2 in
favor of the road team. However, LA has won their last two road games, both in
should and will put up a strong fight against the Lakers. Goran Dragic and
Courtney Lee are very capable backups when Lowry and Martin are not playing.
However, the new additions of Ramon Sessions and Jordan Hill (from Houston)
will be key in the Lakers victory tonight. LA’s last two road wins should be an
indicator that their road woes are reversing. Los Angeles won the only meeting
so far between these two 108-99, and I see them winning by a similar score this
My Pick: Lakers -2
Phoenix Suns vs Miami Heat
Miami Heat are once again double-digit favorites tonight at home, this time
against the Phoenix Suns. The Heat are -11 favorites and it might be a tall
order against a Suns team that has been playing great basketball since the All
Star Break. Phoenix is 9-2 SU since the mid season break and have won four in a
the other hand has been riding around par since the break. Miami has won six of
their last ten, but all four of those losses were on the road. Dwyane Wade has
been on a huge hot streak in this stretch. He has been the Heat’s leading
scorer in four of their last five games.
two teams haven’t played one another in a while; December of 2010 to be exact.
Since then, both have gone over some changes. The Big Three were in Miami then,
but the Suns added Marcin Gortat since then, and I expect him to have a huge
game against the Heat tonight. Along with Gortat, Jared Dudley and Channing
Frye have been as hot as any player at their respective positions in the last
week. These guys, combined with their incredible bench guys, I feel will be
more then enough to get the cover on the road. Plus, the Suns still have the
league’s leader in assists, that guy named Nash. The Suns easily have the
offensive firepower to keep up with Miami. This game will be won by single
My Pick: Suns +11
