There's nothing to see here. Cecchinato has a killer one handed shot that played well today. I've seen the guy in person and he's capable of going far at RG in the right draw, not his year. Every side court has less room (some have far less) at these tournaments. I'd be willing to bet that there are side courts at RG with less room on the sides and the baseline than the bullring. Whole facility is a big relic.
While I don't buy this angle for a second, I do think that some courts have such a unique character where it drastically effects one players performance. Depends on the court and depends on the player. This kind of thing, like the weather thing, are not efficient ways of handicapping these matches.
