    Us open ml dogs

so again this is about dogs only.

Strategy is very simple, you select 3 - 5 dogs, put 1 unit on them, and if 2 of them win you are a winner.

    Day 1.

Carreno Busta @ 2.7 vs freakin Jano

So Carreno did look decent in winston-salem playing against scrubs but then again Jano is a scrub and can go crazy any moment so this is selectable

    Mayer F. @ 4 vs Klizan

yeah, Mayer has not played a lot, and Klizan has, but I don't see that big of a difference between them as odds suggest here. If Mayer is physically fit enough, he has a chance of pulling this through.

    Gonzalez @ 2.5 vs Krajinovic

getting through qualies is not easy, but Gonzalez did it without loosing a set and Krajinovic has not played on hard courts this summer so this is worth a bet.

    BOL

i though he would but Schwartzman had shown some life on hard courts this season so not a big surprise...

I was more surprised at Klizan vs Mayer match. That was one pathetic event to say the least. Klizan looked in really bad shape but if compared to Mayer then i would say Klizan looked more than good. One is for sure - Chardy will kick him hard next round.

    early options for Day 2...

    Krajicek @ 3.3 vs Giraldo
    Melzer @ 2.8 vs Kudla
    Nishioka @ 3.1 vs Mathiue
    Young @ 3.5 vs Simon

I think 2 or 3 will go through here.

What are your thought on Bedene ( @2,63)v Gulbis? Gulbis has had a rocky season. 1 set point away from beating Jokovic, then lost 2 in a row as a favourite...

Yes, this is one of the matches i have my eyes on, but somehow I don't trust neither of these players. Bedene can surely win, but i'll skip this.

Holy shit Chaz, a $100 parlay of these dogs would've paid nearly $10k (~$9925.39)!!! Very nice calls, I remember you being pretty solid picking the last few GS tourneys.
Great job, looking forward to future picks my man!

For tomorrow I really like Cuevas, Fish, and Klizan, and to a lesser extent (still good value) Verdasco, Ilhan, and Groth. Very interested in your thoughts on the potential of those dogs, as well as others you feel offer great value (such as maybe Carreno-Busta, Krajinovic, or Gabashvili).

Raonic didn't practice today due to back spasms..Verdasco worth a bet especially at books that grade early retirement action such as 5d

yeah, 't was a nice surprise to get them all. Added more dogs yesterday which I didn't post here, and they all lost without doubt....still got some boost from these 4 dogs.

    Day 3

Well, I wouldn't touch Klizan or Fish, both of them looked more than bad. Klizan was absolute trash but got lucky to get Mayer who should retire after putting that kind of a performance as he did. Fish will get smoked as he was just slightly better than small Italian average clay courter...

Cuevas vs Fognini is almost no value there. Fognini is a stronger player, he won his first match convincingly, he might loose here, but Cuevas sucks on hard courts, so this is a true coin toss.

Now I would advise the following:

    Verdasco @ 2.8 vs (not in-form Raonic)

Yeah, Nando did play 5 sets in round 1 but Milos is really struggling this year with all the injuries...

    Groth @ 3.7
    vs (Robredo)

If Groth could take care of Dolgopolov, I don't see any reason why Robredo couldn't go the same passage.

    Kukushkin @ 5.45
    (vs Dimitrov)

This will be very interesting. Kuku does not deserve such great odds on him, is well prepared for this Open. So it's just who will win the big points.

    also to consider:

    Krajinovic @ 5.87
    vs (Ferrer)

You have to bet against Ferrer every round now. Krajinovic surprised me by winning 1st round with such ease. Still think this can go Ferrer's way, but if Serb serves well, he might have a chance.

Nice picks except Kukushkin. Can't throw my money away on Kukushkin to beat Dimitrov. Yes Dimitrov is overrated here but won't lose to Kukushkin.

Just be careful, Dogopolov had tennis elbow when he retired so he may have been legitamely hurt. Robredo had a strong showing here last year so treading with caution with him. He will fight the game like a dog and go to 5 if he has to which Im not sure if Groth can do but thankfully there is a tiebreaker then.
Still otherwise solid picks, keep up the good work

Good man Kukushkin, was battling all the way, I thought he would give it up in 5th but nooooo....

also, notice that yesterday this was the only dog win in men section which is a bit of a surprise....today i don't think it will go same way, so in couple of hours I'll post some new selections. Gotta catch some breakfast now...

    I like these:
    Nishioka +245
    Youzhny +325
    Rosol +240

For WTA bettors I think more than half of the dogs could win but please don't fade Azarenka.

Ok, so here we go with a brief look into each and every matchup today except for Fed and Murray - not even worth mentioning their games.

    Day 4

    Bellucci vs Nishioka

At first glance I thought this might be a good dog to select, cause Nishi is playing well lately and Bellucci is not 2 levels in front of him.
But that said, Nishioka now has played 14 sets vs 3 sets that Bellucci has played. He's not even 20ty right? so even if he manages to put some fight
I highly doubt that he'll end up as a winner here. So skipping this.

    Bedene - Young

This can go either way, and odds are just too little to invest on Bedene, even if he is fresher than Young who had a hell of a match against Simon.

    Bemelmans vs Sock

Very tempting odds on Belgian, but Sock has more experience and crowd behind him. They played recently and it was a close match, so it's not like Sock is
huge favourite here so I'll take it.

    Troicki vs Ram

Yes, take Ram. Troicki for sure has more skill and talent but he's lost his form somewhat lately.

    Wawa vs Chung

I actually think Chung can pull this through. Wawrinka is so overrated when not in his blistering form and he's not so this can be an upset of the day.

    Istomin vs Thiem

No interest in this match. Thiem will probably win in 4 or 5

    Mahut - GGL

Take GGL, Mahut ain't gonna win 2 matches here.

    Vesely - Karlovic

    Big man Ivo will win.

    Anderssn vs Krajicek

Now this is my match of the day. Andersson is a huge favourite and seemingly in good form, but at some point he'll cacth fatigue and Krajicek is capebale of taking him down
    odds are crazy.

    Berdych - Melzer

no chance for Austrian veteran here.

    Isner - Youzhny

Yes, take Youzhny. He has picked up form lately and even though Isner will be a tough nut to crack he has a decent chance.

    Haase - Gasquet

Although frenchie struggled in round 1 he should cruise here unless retirement is planned.

    Kohlshrieber - Rosol

2 suckers playing this out, Rosol should loose.

    Tomic- Hewitt

Tomic should win, but this is Hewitt's last year right, so this can get special. Maybe I'll put a penny or 2 on Leyton, but this depends how other results end.

    So Conclusion:

    Bemelmans @ 5.5 vs Sock
    Ram @ 3 vs Troicki
    Chung @ 6 vs Wawa
    Krajicek @ 7 vs Anderson
    Youzhny @ 4 vs Isner

    and maybe

    Hewitt @ 3.2 vs Tomic

I do think the court, as well as the crowd, should give Isner an ample boost today. Balls should be leaving smoke-trails off Louis Armstrong, definitely the hottest stadium with the least amount of breeze.
