    Nishi/Wawrinka

who we got? I don't see a sharp side on this one. People will be riding Nish from his US Open run and people will be riding stan hoping for an Aus open repeat

on Pinny stan opened as a slight fav at -115 and now he's at +150 or something

looking at this as strictly a tennis match with no outside influences I think stan can win this. at the same time I can't see myself betting against Nish

nishi/novak and stan/novak both make sense. nove should be ready for revenge against both of them

    thoughts?

Seems like Wawrinka is not moving and serving that great this year. I like Nishi ML.

Why would the crowd like Wawrinka in this spot ? This is "the Asian GS" after all.

I am just going by what I saw in the previous round from these two. Don't care about the "pundits" that much, but I would not be surprised to see a subpar Wawrinka tonight, with him not being able to serve bombs all the time and not being able to chase every ball, similar to what Nadal showed yesterday. If both players will be at their best, this is probably a pkem affair.

I liked how explosive Wawrinka played this week and Kei was mostly defensive but consistent

    2 important things for Wawa
    1. Winning points from baseline against kei
    2. Serving well

I am optimistic about Wawa on these 2 today

-over 3.5 sets @1.40 for closing a parlay
    -Wawa +3 @1.80

Wawa was way too passive in that US open encounter, hoping Nish would self-destruct. He had so many chances to take the game to Nish but refused. It will be interesting to see if he changes that tactic. Personally, I like Nish because he is mentally tougher than Wawa, who can self-destruct at any moment. But Wawa can certainly win.

Good call AceAce. I had +3@1.80. My parlay is dead from over 3.5 sets but I am break even from the game. Again good call
