**Davis Cup: Tsonga +110 @ 8 am est**

Coin flip. Both very evenly match. I'll take the underdog in a very tight match

yeah Monfils vs RF. In a 3-sets-to-win situation the natural inclination is to back
Monfils who is rested and in France, but he is usually mastered by RF. RF backing out
of ATP Finals match official story is "bad back". But it could be that despite recent
comments, RF values a Davis Cup more than the ATP Finals because he wasn't going
to finish the year at #1 anyway. This makes it a no-play unless you see a live in-match probability. Switzerland has never won a Davis neither has RF. This is
their last real chance. Such is despite being in France and big public RF/Stan issues,
the Swiss team was still a favorite at -130.
I am tempted by Monfils but considering the stakes for RF/Swiss will not bet.

Depends which Stan turns up as Tsonga has had a poor year but if Stan plays poorly Tsonga will routine him

I don't think roger will want to put the pressure of the davis cup on stan's shoulders against an in-form monfils

i think roger wins tomorrow handily to win his first davis cup

Tsonga did not look that bad against Wawa, but he was clearly put off by the predominantly Swiss crowd and Stanimal was pretty solid. Tsonga's game does match up with Feds relatively well. On the other hand, Feds probably does have a back injury as he is not serving that great and cannot sustain very long rallies. That being said, I'd say Tsonga's mental issues will lead to a 3-1 Feds win. I would actually consider playing Simon instead of Tsonga.

Clearly fixed. I do not believe in fixes in every event, but here too much publicity was at stake. Nobody cared in France about this event; but this win by Swiss will generate huge returns for ITF, Swiss Federation, RF, etc. Davis Cup started to become pretty unpopular lately, so this media storm should help a lot too. Kudos to Swiss backers.

Not that he would win but Gasquet instead of Tsonga is a penetrating joke
