Does he point to his head a lot? I know it's his signature but I haven't seen a lot of his matches.

Robredo got tight in that tiebreak. Too bad cause the match would have been over.

at +185 I'd make this bet again. It was certainly competitive and came down to a few points.

It's only a 2-1 set lead for Wawrinka... I thought Robredo was mentally tough? Seems like Wawa was the one tha was mentally tough. That is why I never trust robredo

Wawrinka just stepped up a gear. Nothing to do with Robredo.

It's amazing how much players step up their level of play for grand slams. The way a #20 plays in a grand slam he would sweep all other ATP events. It's all about the money!

Wawa has been serving 46-50% first serve this whole match. Wawa played like shit, but stepped it up in a clutch situation. Robredo played to "not lose" this match. He should have played to win

He lost two sets in demoralizing fashion. That's a lot to ask. Match could have gone either way.

How? He had breaks points on multiple games but Wawrinka served aces to negate them. He also faced no break points in that set.

    That comment is absolutely ridiculous.

Poet, had Wawrinka served "just ok" 60%ish Robredo would have had no break point chances

Wawrinka's first serve % is always at 50% mark. If he served at 60%, he wouldn't be serving okay.

Lots of what ifs. Robredo at +money was worth a shot. He had his chances. Had he won the tiebreak Stan would have faded. Would make the bet again.

Really? What were all those timeouts about? He was a tiebreak loss away from going away.

congrats to stan-backers, particularly those with the conviction/stones to straight-up -200 ml him...

razor close till the 3rd-set TB showed us that when Stan decides to switch into terminator mode (which we haven't seen him in since the AO) he really is (or rather can be, when he wants to be) "that good"

still, agree whole-heartedly with Poet here...

if 100 people hip to tennis (but not to betting) were watching the match and were tapped on the shoulder at 75 46 66 (7-7) in the 3rd set TB...and asked to identify who the 2-1 favorite was you'd get lots of guessing and 'dunno's...(a few minutes later however it was clear as a bell...but if that TB went the other way...who knows)...

Not to mention, fitguy, Robredo backers could have cashed out and made a profit while the match hung in the balance (not so with WaWa backers). When Robredo was up in the tie break Stan was +150. I thought about it but passed. Did not think Stan could come back if he lost that breaker. And Robredo's shot on set point missed the line by an inch.
