    Looselines -- Shady bait and switch bonus tactics

    This morning, I sent an email to Looseline asking for type of reload bonus they can offer me. They then offered me a 20% bonus with 5x roll. Max $1,000 bonus. I accepted and deposited $5,000. ($1,000 bonus). After depositing, I asked them to apply the bonus and asked for confirmation of the roll calculation. They told me $6,000 x 10= $60,000. I showed them that I was offered this bonus with 5x roll and that the calculation should be $6,000 x 5= $30,000. They then told me that this cannot be honored (in spite of the email that I showed proving the offer). I then asked to have the bonus removed and my deposit refunded and they declined my request, telling me that I need to roll it 1x. Unbelievable.

    [21:09] Karina: I really apologize, but as a regular CS rep that is what I was able to offer, but with normal accounts that has max limits of $250 and not up to 1k as you do

    When you sent the email asking for reload offer, did you use the email which is tied to your LL account? If yes, then they have no excuse. They knew who you were, and they need to honor the offer. There's a reason why players and sportsbooks agree to terms BEFORE deposit.

    I had an issue recently with their sister book Jazz. I'm not going to get into it because it's not worth it. But let's just say that they aren't 100% honest sometimes.

    I actually emailed them from my account itself by using their on-site messaging system.
    I totally agree.
    You'd think that at the worst, they'd offer a refund of the deposit since they made a mistake with the bonus terms.
    It's a shame, because they have good lines and would like to use them but I don't patience for this crap.

    While that may be logical, I don't think I've ever seen a book refund a deposit without 1X play through, no matter the circumstances.

    I've been on the darned site talking to their representatives 5 times and made countless attempts but they still have not removed the bonus and nobody knows what the heck I am talking about. Miserable miserable experience with this site.

    Hey Bro. did they take care of this problem for you? Losselines is pretty solid and fast pays though I dont use much anymore since they took away pic 4 and 5's on horses and I cant parlay the Asian odds on soccer

    Yes, Optional was nice enough to help me and they took down the bonus. Still a 1x roll necessary, though. Could have been an honest mistake on their part with the screwed up bonus offer but the was they handled it was D-

    Thats too bad. Sad that even the better books make bad decisions like this. Anyone depositing 5k deserves VIP treatment and book should be greatful for their business...its like they dont understand that a bad experience will cost them a good customer..Books need to take a class on sales 101

    They can't appear to be too soft, or some people push it and push it.

    But if Colonist really wanted to withdraw after having the bonus cancelled, they should have let him based on what he posted here. Unless they think he knew what he was doing and knew the CS agent was wrong and was just trying to take advantage. Not that I think that happened here, just only reason I can think of where they might say no. Agree bad PR move and a bit pointless.

    What difference does it make if he "knew what he was doing"? I'm honestly not even sure what that means in this context. He messaged them from within his own account and asked them what kind of bonus they could provide. From there, it's their responsibility to provide accurate information. If they make an offer that they don't like in retrospect, it's not OP's fault. He didn't FORCE them to make the offer.

    I mean, what is the purpose of asking if you cannot trust the response? If he was someone who "knew better", what was he supposed to do differently?

    Probably quite a bit when we ask a manager to make a good will decision.

    People get on chat constantly trying to get chat agents to commit to stuff. Sometimes it looks obvious in hindsight they were trying to get an agent to commit to something they know is wrong.


    But as I said, in this case it's hard to see why a manager would deny a deposit refund.

    You're probably right. His entire scam was to get 5x instead of 10x. And he did so by going through private channel. He knew their weakness was promising bonuses that they didn't want to give out. It's definitely OP's fault.

    That sounds so ridiculous when I read it back.

    Anytime I go on chat and ask for a bonus I know exactly what I'm doing. I'm trying to get a bonus. Any book that offers a bonus through chat or email and doesn't honor it needs to adopt better business practices. If your CS reps aren't offering the correct bonuses then train them better.

    So it's ok for a Book to reneg on a bonus, and then make you do a 1x RO they don't deserve? Honor the deal or refund the guy's deposit, it's that simple.

    You're putting words in my mouth here. Perhaps you missed my other posts in this thread where I called this practice wrong? In this particular post you quoted, I was merely saying that's the reality we live in. Have you seen it done? If so, it's not common at all.

    It's also not common that a Book doesn't honor a stated bonus. And I'm saying it's wrong and shouldn't be accepted. If a Book doesn't honor it's bonus offer, then they should return the deposit without the usual 1x RO. Why reward them for a fraudulent effort to get you to deposit?

    To add a bit of humor, Looselines approached me this week with "apologies for the inconvenience and willing to compensate me for this issue." Their offer to me? 10% bonus on my NEXT deposit with a 5x roll. Isn't this their standard reload offer? These guys are SUCH A JOKE!!

    I was a hair about to deposit here on Friday until i saw they are related to Jazz. I saw the title and wanted to check it out because surprise surprise the EXACT same thing happened to me at Jazz.

    I was sent an offer for 50% cash i went and accepted it i did not even ask they sent it. Then to make sure i asked on Live chat and they told me yes 50% cash. So i deposited $500 . Then AFTER i deposited just like OP the guy sends me an e-mail to CB right away. He said he made a mistake and i could not have the 50% . If i wanted that i had to deposit another $4500 which i refused. He then said he was sorry a million times and promised to make it up to me in the future. I was like "There is no way in hell after you just pulled a bait and switch on me like this i would EVER trust you again ."

    Funny thing is another guy a month later sends me the EXACT same e-mail that they baited me with a month before. Exactly. I have not deposited a cent in there since. They keep sending me crap but the only way i would ever deposit there is to put the money they still owe me in there and then some for the inconvenience .

    If this is their sister site this does not shock me and i can see they do this to a lot of other people which is not right. Their ratings should be way lower for this crap. Not an F because i know they do pay if you cash out but a D .

    I had an account manager with Jazz a few years ago that was great, top notch service but I cant remember his name now. Once he left the offers dried up and everything got sketchy. Emails received with offers that weren't intended for my account, they never had any intent to honor them.
