Moneybookers addresses Bet911 complaints

Moneybookers:

The customers didn’t receive their payouts from Bet911.com because they don’t have the funds to complete their payouts. If you have any questions on this please let me know.

On April 28th, SBR received complaints that Bet911 (SBR rating C-) was not paying players out via Moneybookers. After one day, Bet911 addressed the reports by claiming that multiple fraudulent transactions were made by their players using the Moneybookers system. Bet911 initially vowed to pay players out via alternate methods, such as by check, before back-tracking and declaring that no player who requested a Moneybookers withdrawal would be paid prior to completion of an internal investigation. Despite this statement, hours earlier the player from SBR's April 29th newswire reported payment. Bet911 has not returned any of SBR's communication since April 29th. Additionally, Moneybookers has taken issue with Bet911's stance concerning why players were not being paid out via Moneybookers. Moneybookers has stated to SBR that Bet911 has insufficient funds to complete their payments to customers. SBR has lowered Bet911's rating to C-.

Moneybookers always give their customer hard time. I have friends, who used MB between countries (US & Can). the one from US transfered the funds to his Can friend. then the one from Can transfered the fund to online gambling sites via MB. all his transactions were successful. after half year, MB closed both accounts.

Yeh, but at the same time why would they stop advertising moneybookers as a deposit option? That would be the quickest way for Robert to attract new deposits and pay the customers sounding off here at the forums, giving him some time to work everything out. Or does Robert have a concience and don't want to owe more people money?

Here is what they say about themselves (it may have been taken from some review site actually) on the site:

Bet911 mainly caters to players from Europe, but do have a number of clients not only from the states but around the world. The reason for so many players from Europe is for their great assortment of soccer from all around the world. Of course they have all the normal sports such as NFL, NBA, MLB as well.

So now they are a book with mainly european players, yet the only realistic deposit method they offer is Neteller. I don't know.. the fact that they did remove it as an options should give at least some credence to his story.

It could be that MB suspended bet911 account that's why bet911 stop offering deposits via MB. Bet911 took way too many deposits via MB and then stop offering MB withdrawals . By not having any funds in MB account doesn't mean Bet911 didn't withdraw funds via wire . Knowing that if they pool fraud the account is most likely to be frozen .

The part about them not talking to SBR anymore worries me. I don't get how these books think. If they're having temporary cash flow problems, why not say so? Playing around like this makes things much much worse for them.

bet911 is dead, it's more than obvious to me. they stopped to respond for some time, they don't event post fresh lines, it's only a matter of weeks till the whole thing is shut down. i still have around $1500 there, guess i got to be glad it's not more.

oh, and the moneybookers fraud story is so obvious... they want to delay the whole process, making it look like there's just a small problem, to not scare off potential new depositing customers. what a bunch of conmen... i still remember how much of a hassle it was to receive a withdrawal earlier, it took like 2 months, haven't experienced that much hassle with any of the > 50 other books i have accounts with.

Has anyone other than Peep received a payout in the last month? How old is the first payout request that they've stalled and not met? It seems like it hasn't been that long, so perhaps there's only reason for concern and not outright panic... at least I hope so for all waiting for a payout.

I have been told the same thing as Misterbet. Both Robert and Mark in different times when i contacted them, told me that by the end of this week (sth like Friday or Saturday) MB will be back.

Their live support seems to be off today...Is that another indication of things going completely wrong? Hope they stick to what they said about MB going back at the end of this week.

The book is f**ked pardon the expression . SBR have leaked the news about their moneybookers lie and i would imagine the live chat would've gone into meltdown with disgruntled punters wanting their money so easier just to take it down. No response to sbr emails no response to customer emails this is going one way down the pan looking like a £3k+ loss for me all told. I wouldn't hold your breath about moneybookers being back at the end of the week , why not just fund neteller and pay people that way ? I'm sure most people have a neteller account or could quite easily set one up to get their money. I'm waiting now for the site to go offline just to cement their intention of not paying anyone. Either way i just want a clear yes or no if i'm going to get paid.

So in regards to the bet911 issue i have contacted some people in the EOG forum (Peep suggested them after he got paid). bet911 is a sponsor in the EOG site. I just received the following update from EOG. The sender of the below contacted Robert a few minutes ago. I am copying/paste :

''Bet911 is having financial difficulties at this time.

Robert is doing his best to get these issues sorted out and things taken care of.

Until business resumes as normal we will be removing their banner and links from our site.

Once thier financial issues are resolved, they will be more than welcome to return.

All payouts are temporarily on hold until funds can be made available for withdrawals.

The approximate date for reinstating withdrawal requests will be around the 21st of May.

I have been assured that all withdrawal requests will be upheld once this situation is resolved.''

Bet911 has been downgraded to F. SBR is aware of at least one sportsbook looking at the possibility of taking over player balances. Bet911 has a higher than average amount of sharp players that make the acquisition undesirable to most potential suiters. Bet911 has been attempting to partner or sell to another sportsbook for at least the past year. Bet911 offered too-good-to-be-true bonuses in conjunction with reduced juice pricing; a very risky model especially for a sportsbook that has to balance its own costs and processing without the help of a white label host.

So, why exactly were they repeatedly upgraded and allowed to spam the forum with offers?

Really sad to read this. I certainly don't see Robert as being honourable here; he lied about Moneybookers in order to buy time, and probably only came out in the open about this because he was left with little choice once Moneybookers confirmed the lie. Anyway, hopefully an honourable book will buy them out.

Let's all hope that a decent book will buy them out. After all i don't believe that they have so many withdrawal requests. Transfer to a decent book even with a small rollover would be OK i guess. And for sure better than nothing.
