    Are online books using bitcoin payout delayed because of blockchain? Im still waiting for mine and wondering if anyone else is also.

    The number of unconfirmed transactions right now is very high. This is most likely what's causing the delay

    This is not relevant. When they actually send the transaction, it will display in your wallet instantly, no matter how blocked up blockchain is.

    When it comes to confirmations, thats another story.

    Not true. I have had transactions take 2 hours after being sent. Because of the # of unconfirmed transactions. It is usually between 10k-15k. This morning it was up to 45k

    Not gonna spend much time on this, but you are wrong. The moment books SEND it, it will appear in your wallet. The only thing that gets affected by many unconfirmed transactions, is how long it will take for your transaction to get confirmed, which is also determined by the miners fee attached to your transaction.

    doesnt matter if there are a million unconfirmed transactions, the moment the book sends,and the transaction is broadcasted, it will be visible in the blockchain and in your wallet.
