    Heritage

All these other sites are doing the sports simulations but Heritage seems not interested in doing them. I haven’t asked them about it I just thought it was strange everybody is offering it besides them.

I looked around their site and was also a little surprised they didn't offer it.

Thanks Mike. I don’t know if they think they are above that or whatever? I can bet that at another place. Thing is my money is at Heritage and I’m not making any new deposits until real sports come back.

why do you say overrated? The Best Customer Service, low Vig, Fast Payouts, more betting options, open parlays and ability to buy points. The new Soccer Plus is excellent too. The sports book side of Heritage I think blows away books like BOL

May I ask how dual lines are given?

Example: If 10 different people log in to the sportsbook, different lines might be viewd by different bettors according to their log in credentials?

My buddy and I on several occasions were logged on at the same time from two separate IP's, two different accounts.
He was offered one line and me a different line for the very same game at the same time.
That's shady in my book, if you think different, so be it, continue to bet there, plus I'll take 5 Dimes -105 reduced juice over their -108 eight days a week, plus 5 Dimes gives me more props.

This is a phenomenon that I, in my naivete, suspected might exist but didn't think possible.

Well, I now have been apprised and appreciate you're shedding light on this topic, Steve.

I knew it was a potential practice with locals back in the day. They could, and (knowing human nature) probably would shade contingent upon who was calling. I didn't think there was a way to do this at an online site.

This is quite a revelation to me, and I appreciate the information.

Even if Heritage does offer dual lines, so what? They aren't forcing you to play one side or another, so I don't see an advantage either way. What am I not getting? BTW, Heritage has a 105 line program too.

OK, last time I was there the best juice they were giving was -108.
Maybe I'll look at them again, who knows maybe they got their shit together.
    I'll give them another try.

I was just trying to understand the dual lines at Heritage, not trying to promote them. I use them as well as 5D. However, one major problem I still have with Heritage is their website. They switched formats a year or so ago and it's pure garbage.

I had spoken with them about the Madden football. They seemed disinterested. Sure wish they would start offering them! Please Heritage offer some sims, low
    limits are fine by me

When was that last time? Because Heritage has offered -105 lines for many years now. As long as I've known them at least. You have to abstain from their bonus program in favor of -105 lines. You don't get both.

My humble take is that perhaps, when the poster and his friend logged in from different IPs and different accounts and then viewed different lines, that one account was registered as the "Bonus or Cash Back" plan whereas the other was registered as the "Low Vig Plan".

    This would result in 2 different displays. 1) a 16 cent line, -108..-108 and 2) a dime line -105...-105.

I googled for an explanation of a book offering "dual lines" to it's customers.

What I got was that, in some cases, a player will view certain lines at a site PRIOR to logging in, and then AFTER logging in view different and unfavorable lines.

Unless I'm mistaken, concerning the BIG 4 (5Ds, Heritage, BOL, and BM) two allow their lines to be viewed PRIOR to logging in and two don't.

IMHO, a book which offers "dual lines" would be one that I'd prefer not to use.

I was thinking this was probably the case too. I've never seen anyone else ever making the claim Heritage played games with lines.

Yes, this is the most likely scenario. If you follow steve's comment trail in this thread, it's apparent that he's not even aware that there are two different account types (since he isn't aware of -105 lines being an option). So this must be what he saw, and he mistakenly assumed it was dual lines.

Yes, when I signed up there (had to be 2012 or so) I was not aware of the -105.
Hey! I'm not totally slamming the book, their CS is rock solid and they're one of the safest books out there.
I prefer 5 Dimes and I am giving Heritage a second look.

Some books profile bettors betting tendencies.
I used to work as a liaison for a book in Boston when I was in my 20's.
The boss of the office used to do it all the time.
We had one client that used to bet certain pitchers only at home all the time, once he was on to that betting trend he would know which way the client would bet when he called so he would jack up the juice on those games.

I got into a argument with the boss telling him that was unfair practice.......

    Just seems that way.
I've always had nothing but satisfaction with that book is all.
I knew the late Tony's reputation so I always started my conversations with him with respect, and he gave it back to me.
Misgrades he always corrected for me with no trouble.
I had a few conversations with him, he knew sports inside out.
No, not horny for them but I do think they are the best, but that's just me.
