Has anyone ever received a payout from Unibet.com?
    What was your experience?

Generally okay. Depends where you are from also. If from outside the UK there is a good chance they will ask for a picture of your passport by your face

I requested a withdrawal on January 18th, after 5 business days I contacted them to tell them no deposit was made to my bank account. They said they would look into it, 5 days later still no deposit. 4 days ago they asked for my bank statement to prove that no deposit from them was made into my bank account. They said the statement was not good enough and that I needed a signed letter from the bank manager to prove that nothing has been deposited into my account. Have not received any word from them and they do not know where the money is.

They should be able to provide you with a transaction ID that you can give to your bank to check on.

And unfortunately it's normal for them to require a letter from your bank if the transaction remains unreversed on their end. So they can get it cancelled by their bank.

It can be tough to get a definite letter from banks too. It may be easiest to walk into your branch with the transaction ID and ask for the manager to write it and print it for you on the spot.

There is a good chance it is a bank cockup and not them btw.

Unibet won't provide me with a transaction ID.
Now that the payments dept is investigating, I simply have to be patient and wait.

It doesn't appear I will be receiving my money from unibet.
I was told that since they sent it, it is now my responsibility to track the funds.

I had this happen with payment back to card . Fortunately it was only 50 dollars. It was with betfair and they told me to ask the bank about holding accounts where payments are sent before going to accounts. Of course nobody at the bank had any idea what that was. Hope things work out for you. I just gave up on that payment

This is by far the worst sports book I have ever dealt with in my 35 years of gambling. After another failed attempt to speak with the payments department I took it upon myself to contact the third party bank who was overseeing the transfer of the funds. I was told by an employee named Marie that unibet did in fact make a mistake and instead of sending to the Canadian bank institution I had listed, they sent to an American bank. They still refused to take accountability for this mistake. I will be posting details of this absurd ordeal I have been going through with unibet over the past 30 days. I will be posting it here at SBR and I will be posting it across the street and at several other gambling sites.

Has to be some more to the story Jay. If a responsible manager knows about this they will fix it.

Why did they say it still wasn't their problem? Do they want written confirmation from the bank first still?

Is it a wire or payback to d-b-I-t card. Wire can be traced , but in my case it was just lost in space. The banks aren't very helpful either.

    good luck

This is a new bank, the only reason I opened up this account with this bank is because unibet accepts paysafe for deposits however, if you want to make a withdrawal they require that you have a bank account. I had never encountered this before. So when I brought the transaction ID to my bank, they did not know what to do with that transaction number because they didn't receive any money. Suppose they could have done what I did and contact swedebank themselves but, like you said banks aren't very helpful. This is why I choose not to deal with them if I don't have to. The representative at swedebank told me today that they would be taking care of this for me and I should have the funds in my bank account in 3 to 4 days. When I contacted univet to tell them what I discovered, they asked for the transaction ID. I refused to provide them with the transaction ID because I was afraid they would further f*** this up. I will wait for 4 days to see if swedebank fixes this for me. I trust they will because they were able to provide me with more information in 12 minutes than unibet provided me in over aver a month.

    Well done Jay.

Almost always need to track these down yourself unfortunately.

If only the banks used a transparent ledger we could all see like the blockchain this would not happen.

I have a good experience with unibet. I transfer money to my bank account each month, it usually takes one/two days for the money to be there.

Good luck Jay, hope it works out within the mentioned term.

That's one of the biggest problems I have with unibet. The only point of contact for the player is customer service. They say their hands are tied because they don't have the information that the payments departments has but, players aren't allowed to speak with the payments dept. They can't tell me about good will bonuses I might be intitled to but, players can't speak directly to the bonus dept.
I was told by every CS agent that players were not allowed to speak with supervisors or managers. "Jason, any manager here will just tell you the same thing I am telling you.".
"So, put your manager on the phone so that he can tell me."
They always refuse and if you ask too often, they just hang up.. My bank is the National Bank of Canada, apparently there is a national BkofAma. When I explained that they sent it to the wrong bank even though the transit number and account numbers were completely different, they explained it must have been an input error. I found this odd because unibet does not make any payments to the US, that would be illegal.

A manager definitely would not have told you the same thing. I would hope! Unibet are not some cowboy outfit. But not surprised you are pissed after being given no help like that.

It is kind of normal that you are the one that actually needs to chase down the bank though. Got one now with a guy in Israel and a bit of a dickhead book who is just saying bad luck guy too.

I received an email a week ago saying that my funds were in the international banking system and I should receive them in 3 to 4 days. I did not. I contacted them today and they have explained to me that the payments department still has not located the money. Even though I told them I had located it and it was sent to a bank in New York accidentally. I've been told that it will be referred to the payments department and I should be patient and wait another 3 to 4 days

Today I spoke with Aled at unibet. The conversation began when he told me that the payments department is looking into my case & that nothing could be done now, until Monday.
I asked if he could see when I requested the withdrawal & he replied, "Yes".
Then I told him today's date and he said that this happens from time to time.
I told him that none of the previous customer service agents agreed & in fact the other agents had never heard of a player waiting over a month and a half for a payout.
I Gave him a chance to explain that statement or retract it but, instead he doubled down. I asked him directly if he had dealt with a player who has been waiting more than 6 weeks for a payout and he said "yes".
I expressed that I was happy to finally be speaking with someone who had dealt with this type of problem before and he said that banks & sportsbooks & all sorts of companies run into this type of delay commonly.*
I said, it's good to know that other unibet clients have waited months for payouts.
He immediately changed his tune and said that he had "not" heard of this happening before.
It was at this point that informed him that I was recording the call.
He paused and said that he had not heard of this situation in particular but, sometimes there are delays, for example, when a client refuses to provide the proper documents.
I conveyed to him that I sent all the proper docs over a month ago.
I talked about how I called the Swedbank and found out that the money was sent to New York and that this clearly was their error, as unibet doesn't allow American players.
He answered," I don't work for the payments so I don't know anything about any of this."
I again pleaded with him to put me in touch with someone who could help me, as he made it clear that he was unable to help me.
Of course I was told that I could not speak with the payments dept nor could I speak with a supervisor or a manager.
I asked him what he would do if 445 of his own money went missing.
At this point he laughed and said, "I would just wait, I would just wait".
I told him that I did not believe him and it was at this point he told me that he was going to terminate the call if there was nothing else he could help me with. I explained that I understood that as a customer service agent, he was not privy to info held by the payments dept and I would like to speak with someone who could help me.He said that he was my only point of contact & again repeated that he was about to terminate the call if there was nothing else.
I said there was something else. I asked him if he could tell me why I was eligible for a good will bonus.* He put me on hold for 5 mins and when returned he said, "you've been told before that you are not eligible for a good will bonus. "
I told him that I was aware but I wanted to know why.

He said that he was not obligated to disclose that.

I asked if a player who has been waiting for 6 weeks for a payout, is not entitled to a good will bonus, who is?

He said that he was not obligated to disclose that.

I finally asked him if he could confirm that it was his position today that, he refused to tell me why I was not entitled to a good will bonus and he said, " Yes,* that is what I am saying. "

I asked if he could give me a time frame as to when I could expect to receive the funds and he said "we are going around in circles here and if there's nothing else I can help you with, I'm going to hang up."

I told him that he hasn't really done anything and that I'd just call back to speak with someone else and he apologized and terminated the call.

This was my 30th call to customer service & my phone bill is insane. Emails are timely and often go unanswered. They do not offer chat support, as far as I can tell.

I called unibet today because of this email that I received last Thursday :

    Dear Jay,

Thank you for contacting Unibet regarding your recent withdrawal.

We are pleased to inform you that your withdrawal has already been processed by our Accounts Department.*Please accept our sincerest apologies for the delay and inconvenience.*Kindly note that your funds are now within the international bank money transfer system and it can take between three and five working days before the funds appear in your account.*

We thank you again for your patience and we wish you a nice day.

    Best Regards,

    Caroline

    Unibet Customer Support

When I responded to that email indicating that I did not receive the funds they sent me yet another email asking me to provide a bank statement, to prove it has entered received the money.

I don't know what do to anymore. I think this money is a write off now.

If you want to keep going at this yourself then next step would be a phone call or email appeal to the MGA - http://www.mga.org.mt/support/online-gaming-support/

Can't hurt to tell them what their licensee is doing with this either way.

They found the money in New York and instead of having the bank transfer it directly to my account they returned the money into my unibet account. They informed me that I would have to re withdraw the funds. So I did.
Last week they sent me an e-mail saying that it had been processed. included in the email, was the name of my bank & its address, so I thought everything was going to be good.
The money has not arrived so a few days ago I asked them to send me the new banking reference number and after 3 days they sent me the old banking reference number from January 18th. When I called today I explained that I still haven't received the funds and when I asked for a new bank and reference number they gave me the old one, he replied there's nothing I can do... I will contact the payment Department.
I told them if I didn't hear from them by tomorrow I would be contacting the malta gaming Authority .

Aled thanked me and then hung up.
