There are no systems of course some will work for a while but eventually you'll lose it all back and double

The last betting service I paid for gave me seven straight losers. Those jokers had no conscience. None of them have a conscience .

Never pay for any service ever, you should have known better than that.

I have advice for any clown who is selling his picks as a service, "If your picks are that good, take your whole 401k and take your kids college fund and triple it with your wonderful guaranteed winners" why do you need my $

Sorry I was more of asking: will Sportsbooks just close your account if you are consistently profitable.

For example, if you are consistently in the green will they limit your wagers, close your accounts, etc?
Are some bookies better than others at this?

The best system is to find a shitty tout or average Joe and fade them. Not many people can only fade. They need their own action. Fading is the easiest way to make money.

After searching around the forums it seems like many books will limit your wagers if you start winning.

The odds are against you, statistically, but if you win then you will get shut down? It seems like a lose/lose.
Is everyone just betting just for fun? Are winners just dancing around from book to book?

For example, let's say you found a solid college football system where you can be up 10% ROI each season...will you just get shut down?
Will even guys like: Heritage, Bookmaker, and 5Dimes shut you down if you are consistently in the green?

There are basically 3 types of books:

    1) Outright pro-focused, eg Pinnacle, SBO, IBC. These places don't limit, because they use sharp money to make their lines accurate. They all operate ultra low juice.

    2) smaller recreational books. These places boot/limit winners as soon as they identify them.

    3) larger recreational books. These operate as recreational books for smaller sports and side markets, if you beat those, you get the boot. They operate closer to professional books on their volume markets (eg the main sports in the US, soccer the rest of the world), and it'll take longer to get limited betting only those.

Exchanges are another possibility. Betfair took off heavily in Europe, but are getting greedier and greedier with ever-increasing commission charges. Matchbook are improving, with much lower commission.

If you have a profitable system, you should keep your mouth shut and don't mention about it in betting forums. If something becomes popular, bookies will be aware of situation and edge will disappear. It witnessed this many many times. I found a profitable system, I make money, then someone stupid mentions it in betting forums.

One of the best systems I used was NBA Highest Scoring Half system. Bookies used to offer same odds for Highest Scoring Half 1st Half and 2nd half. But Pinnacle was offering different lines for 1st and 2nd half totals. Let's say Pinny 1st Half line is 90 while 2nd half line is 85. It means more points expected in 1st half. You bet Highest Scoring Half 1st Half -110. It was hitting above %70! I made nice profit with this system. Then this strategy started to get popular among bettors. I noticed other bettors are also betting it. Then most bookies started to increase the juice, then most european bookies removed this bet or decreased odds dramatically.

No problem. You can always find new systems. But it's really hard to find a system that works over long haul. NBA system was gold. I founded many horse racing systems also, most of them worked nice for few months then turned out cold. I used to have a NBA Over/Under system, first season it hits %65 (over 200+ plays), next season it was hitting merely %53. It's not easy to find a profitable system that works over long haul. You need a deep backtest!

What are: Heritage, Bookmaker, and 5Dimes considered?

It's not usually as simple as how much you win that gets you limited, it's how you do it.

If your system does not rely on only betting on the best odds in the market and is on a major sport you can win quite a bit at even the rec books like Heritage and 5D without penalty.

Check this article about what gets you limited: http://www.sportsbookreview.com/sbr-...winning-50086/

5dimes is NOT for pros, they are well known to shut down those that play +ev lines consistently. The other two, especially bookmaker, are ok with pros.
