photo of you beside your face

    New fashion: "
Provide us a colour photo of you holding a government-issued form of photographic ID beside your face." Is this legal? Can I refuse?

You can refuse... dont expect to get paid though.

Dunno why people have such an issue with this.

    Nothing to worry about

Nothing to worry about? I understand the intent of the books, but human beings are processing these verifications. Who's to stop them from stealing your identity, or doing some bad stuff with that information. These guys live in third world countries, making $3 an hour. They can probably sell the information and effectively double/triple their salary until they are caught. If you think all of these books are super secure and this could never happen keep living in la la land. This shit happens at fortune 500 companies, it can and will happen at these books. The less information out there on the internet the better.

you actually have a couple options

1.) use a different method of deposit
2.) don't play at an offshore sports book
3.) use a different book that doesn't do this

    or

    4.) stop whining

no one wants to look at pictures of your fat face or steal your identity where they prolly can't even open a CC in your name cause of your crap credit

they just want to know what you look like when you charge back so Tony can send goons to your door

My question was: is it legal to require a photo? (image rights)
That's an order, we have no choice because they do not pay if we refuse.

If you are so scared then dont use these books.
95% of the bookmakers i ever used asked for photo ID copy are you not going to even send them that because some of their employees might steal it?
And really, what are they going to do with my ID copy? Make a fake one and try to open a bank account and get credit?

    Image rights?! Ask your agent

The book can ask for pretty much what they want to determine ID.

Only multi accounters have a problem with the id/face request. And thats why they request it

Is this thread in regards to 1vice? I made an account today and when I tried to make a deposit through chat, I was told that a decision was made that my action was not wanted. No reason given, I tried chat again and Griff said they needed me to take a picture of myself with my ID next to my face and a copy of utility bill. I am a low low limit bettor.
