Was a great book back in the day. These excessive document and ID verifications are ridiculous. If they are going to require a passport for a withdraw that needs to be made crystal clear upfront. Passports can be a little tricky and expensive in some countries not to mention they can take a couple of months.

SBR released a report against Canbet earlier this morning. There are now six complaints on file.

Made a withdrawal of 1300 USD 13 days ago. Sent them a complaint earlier this week, and they told me their IT department was working off the clock to solve the issue. (Sure...)
Either there is some temporarily cash-flow problems, or this bookie is going down. I suppose the latter is the most likely. Should`ve been warned by those rapid 100% deposit bonuses. To greedy, and now I`ve got to pay the price.

Quickest payout I've ever had at canbet over the years was 1 week. Even then I had to chase them for it every time, so waiting a few weeks I don't think is too bad.
Punters have been making a small fortune at canbet for months & now payouts are a bit slow they start jamming forums moaning & complaining. They bonus whore then start screaming & jumping up & down having to wait a few weeks for payouts. If canbet goes under & I lose the large sum I currently have in there then it's my fault. No-one else's. But I won't start moaning & complaining. I would take it on the chin cos I risked bonus whoring. I pay my money & take my chance. Simple. You take a chance with bonus whoring & if a book goes under cos of it then"c'est la vie mes amis".
When bonus whoring you should never leave yourself over exposed by having too much funds in a book & you should never use money that you can't afford to lose.

You shouldn't assume everyone affected by Canbet's behaviour has been "bonus whoring"! I have been following their unethical behaviour for many months and know of affiliates and even past staff who have been subject to their non-payment issues. I do believe that their bonus offers are a primary reason for them getting in this pickle - but in my mind that doesn't absolve them from acting responsibly or in an upfront manner to their customers. I do not know if players will ever trust Canbet again
If they pay every one they will have to rebuild their damaged reputation
Books need to get away from bonuses as all it does is sink your business
Majority of bonus players are normally scammers that is why books are so strict with verification because many people using five accounts

I went in again this week for 100% bonus. My choice. If I bust out great. If I don't & end up with large balance & it goes bang then I'll accept the consequences & financial loss.

Makes no sense that Canbet would go under:
1. Many years of good reputation.
2. Unlike books like Cascade, Canbet doesn't take big bets.
3. Unlike books like NoJuice, Canbet's juice is massive. 40-50 cent lines in many cases.
4. Unlike books like BetIslands, Canbet's reload bonuses are reasonable. Yes they are 100% cash, but the cap is low and the rollover terms are reasonable (including a mandatory hold).
5. This is not generally the time of year that books go under, although this book does not really focus on US sports.
I think they will be fine.
