5Dimes vs. BookMaker for USA Players

So I've always found that 5D and BM were my two favorite places to play as a USA player. I have some questions because 5D catches a lot of slack on this forum. I mainly play at 5D because of the reduced juice which I think is hands down the best promotion around. I guess you could argue that BM is better still because of its financial stability being part of the Cris family.

My question is, is it worth it to play at BM and forgo the reduced juice just because of the perceived perception that it is a more stable book? I don't have any reason to believe that 5D is not rock solid so I was hoping other USA players could weigh in...

Most of the slack about 5dimes comes by people confronting Tony. If you are capable of being straight forward in your dealings with customer service then 5dimes is the place to be.

If you are not getting bonuses at bookmaker, there is no reason to be betting there unless you are only taking lines that are beating what 5dimes is offering, both rock solid, just don't be a douche to Tony's employees and you won't have issues.

5dimes is top notch and the reduced juice is great. bookmaker's lines are usually more juiced and I have a DSI account however I only deposit their when they have a bonus going on.

5Dimes is our best book by a long shot. Everything BM does well, I save money just going through 5Dimes.

Should mention that I'm not a US player, but I guess it all comes down to your personal preference in terms of stability vs offerings (though I have no reason to doubt 5dimes stability I'd still put BM ahead there personally). Also depends a little bit on what you bet, DSI got pretty decent mlb lines and they're part of the Cris family too.

Just do both (or all 3), so you can shop lines too.

5dimes. Better wagering options, cheaper w/d fees, and they dont limit you to 1 withdrawal per 7 days.

I've never dealt with Tony but know that their customer service sucks. They're ignorant and rude. But as for a comparison between the two, I can't say because I don't know enough about Bookmaker.

You can get a line at bookmaker for -120 and at 5dimes that same line will be -110

Use Bookmaker if you like overpriced lines.

    About the same

Bookmaker is a better website and better run operation. More polite, but make more mistakes for sure.

5dimes is very professional but seems to offer a little less overall in terms of betting propositions. For most people, it won't matter, but if you are all over the board with exotics and live plays, stick with Bookmaker.

My problem with both books is payouts. I find that when I hit big, they find new and creative ways to delay payments. They string me out for weeks and trickle the money into my account two or three dimes at a time. Their excuse is that it is difficult to send to the US, but they certainly have no problem receiving the money from me! They used to be much better and more honorable about payouts, but in the past two years they are very tight. They don't honor what they originally promised regarding payouts because they change the rules week by week (literally). They won't admit this, but I've gone through the hell of jumping through their hoops for two months each time in order to get my payouts. It reminds me of the scene in the movie Casino when the airplane mysteriously breaks down before takeoff and the sheik has to stay another night at the casino, at which point he loses his money back to the house.

if you are a winning player payouts should never be an issue with these 2 books. 5dimes offers 1 free payout a month as long as you haven't withdrawn in a month but I personally never wait the full month and won't mind paying the withdrawal fee to get my money faster.

I am working on a rollover with bookmaker, but have been with Betdsi for awhile. 5dimes has no peer, Betdsi and bookmaker are top notch.
