Anyone have recent experiences with Betonbet?

Betonbet is an unrated shop licensed under the laws of Curacao. We have received two reports of non-payment recently from players that state months ago the sportsbook did pay out.

Player comments- "Ive been using their betting exchange for the last 1,5 year and all withdraw have been processed within 24hour before. But since they removed betting exchange and merged with another sportbook in February everything seemed to move downhills."

Hi, I have account at betonbet, but i will not go there anymore. The last time i bet there was maybe 1 month ago, and the withdraw takes 3 weeks, so i'm with a bad impression.

    More BetOnBet Warning Signs
Following unanswered inquiries sent to OddsMatrix about their slow-pay turnkey licensee BetOnBet (SBR rating D-), OddsMatrix removed all mention of the sportsbook from its references and deleted all press releases regarding BetOnBet launches and product releases. OddsMatrix first wrote to SBR offering to discuss any matter regarding books "powered by OddsMatrix." Players should aggressively pursue withdrawals from the sportsbook. BetOnBet customer service is currently blaming additional security checks for delays.

    OddsMatrix.com:
OddsMatrix Ltd of Vincenti Buildings, Suite 713, 14/19 Strait Street, Valletta is a limited liability company registered in Malta (Registration Number: C44411), a member of the EU since May 2004, that operates under regulation and license from the Lotteries & Gaming Authority of Malta, license no: LGA/CL2/497/2008 issued on 3 February, 2009.
    Just for information
OddsMatrix is company that only provide odds...and my opiniion is that they remove all info about BetOnBet and Eurolinx, because BetOnBet(Eurolinx-their payment provider) will bankrupt soon...but there is nothing same between this 2 company.
I think BetOnbet support want to LIE oneself out of a scrape and redirect their problems to others.
Oddsmatrix provide odds also to Noiq,BetFriends,TowerGaming..etc.but for example NOIQ payments are instant for 1 minute.

just so you know: Oddsmatrix was founded and owned by (as far as I know up unil this date), among others Betbrain but also, Stian Hornsletten, who also was (and as far as I know still is) the big guy behind BetonBet. So there are definitely some ties there.

BetonBet was an honest company who had no trouble paying out high 4 - low 5 digits in hours before they changed their exchange to a sportsbook. Also, I'm unsure whether the poker-site of the operation has had any delays, since that has been BetonBet's focus for a long time now. I haven't seen any poker players complain this far, but I could've missed that.
It almost looks like BetonBet outsourced the sportsbook operation (to Eurolinx? of which I know nothing other than that they are affiliated somehow), and taken their hands of it. Which is a pretty idiotic decision regarding the current circumstances in which the solid BetonBet brand name is being completely taken apart obviously.

Oddsmatrix is just starting out though, and obviously has a product companies are interested in. I very much doubt if they would want the bad rep of their first customer stiffing everybody affect their product. I'm quite convinced they will step in when slow-pays become no-pays.

Eurolinx supposedly bought betonbet a while ago and some poker players have been having serious problems getting any money out for months now.

there's a thread on it here anyway, doesn't look good tbh http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28...rawals-484586/

I´ll been following the discussion about BetOnBet here, so i decided to give my experiance of them. I started an account there in the beginning of June not knowing about the slow payments, and it´s seems that everybody has problem to get their money (poker, casino and sportsbook) both from Eurolinx and Betonbet.

I made my first withdrawl of 500 euro, that one took about 16 days to show up in my bankaccount after serveral e-mail coversations.
I had some spare money left on my account there and won about 400 euro and made an withdrawl on the 2 of july, i´ll been waiting since then for the money 24 days now.

I´ve written several letters to them. First mail i wrote they claimed of secuirity checks etc.
After they answering my first mail (this was on 9 of july) I´ve written 2 times to their support and 1 time to their financial team neither of them has written back.
I´ll talked to their live chat a few days ago they only give more excuses.

I have made an complain to LGA becuse i played on their casino when i won the 400 euro, so now it´s only wait and see what happens.

    Good post.

As noted in the July 25th update Betonbet report, OddsMatrix has removed mention of BetOnBet from all pages and its press release regarding its launch. The timing of this is rather precarious, as SBR made attempts to contact OddsMatrix.

As i mentioned earlier I made an complain to LGA, today I got an e-mail from them telling me that they
have talked to the Representative of BetOnBet about my account.

So i decided to log in to my BOB account and guess what, my withdrawl has gone from "pending" to "approved", so now
I´m waiting to see if the money shows up on my bankaccount. I´ll keep you updated.

Maybe this is an option?, to make an complain to LGA no matter if you have played on sportsbook, poker or casino.

that's rather funny as betonbet's sportsbook is licensed in curacao, not malta (LGA).

edit: ah you played in the casino, not the book, never mind then

Yes I know that but their poker and casino is under LGA licens, it´s worth a try isn it?

They claiming of security checks, problem with their processing system etc. But I think thats strange becuse 5 minutes after LGA had talked to them they approved the withdrawl.

I think both them and Eurolinx who is pretty much the same company have a cashflow problem. And becuse I only had a small sum there they approved it so LGA wouldnt investigate whats really going on.
Becuse people who made large withdrawls haven´t got their money yet and some of the withdrawls dates back to may (talking mostly about Eurolinx now) as you can read on the 2+2 thread.

Maybe im wrong i don´t know.

until i have problems at 5dimes, greek, pinnacle or matchbook, i see no point in even trying these type of outfits, good luck i certainly don't wish anyone to get ripped , but why not stay with quality until they are proven to be no longer good, like wsex, i can see why people don't want to be with them anymore

I guess I was among the first that sent in complaint to SBR regarding betonbet. My withdraw has been pending since 3:rd June and still is. CS knows nothing and financial department won't disclose anything regarding the "backlog" and have pretty much stopped responding to my emails since 12 days back.

    Thanks Jiang.

We estimate that over 25 players are still being slow-paid at the moment. Today the GM of BetOnBet claimed that the sportsbook would soon release an official statement regarding the slow-pays. To this point, although BetOnBet mgmt. has communicated with SBR, they have been tight-lipped on when all payments should go out. Of the 25+ received, 3 have been confirmed as resolved, but in that time more payment complaints have come in.

BetOnBet (SBR rating D-) management says it will make "official statement" on complaints
BetOnBet management informs SBR that BetOnBet plans to issue an official statement late this week, or early next week addressing the ongoing slow-pay issues players have experienced. BetOnBet slow-pay complaints have been surfacing by the dozen, as SBR has reported five times on the slow-pay sportsbook in the last 30 days. | BetOnBet forum discussion

Ha Ha - They've addressed the problem alright:

    21. August 2009

MALTA – The Linx Media Group has today announced that it is seeking to put its businesses into liquidation and will cease trading with immediate effect.

As yet, the Linx Media Group does not know how long this process will take, but it will provide updates on the situation as and when information becomes available and when liquidators are appointed.

A company spokesperson from the Linx Media Group stated: “It is with great regret that we make this announcement. I appreciate the concern and frustration that this will inflict on the Eurolinx, BetOnBet, and Linx Casino player community. Affected account holders are those individuals who have agreed to a contractual relationship with the Linx Media Group through Eurolinx, BetOnBet and Linx Casino. All available player funds are held by these businesses. As soon as we have information on how to lodge claims with the liquidators, we will communicate this via eurolinx, betonbet and linxcasino
