Although I have received numerous payouts from BetOnline, I've also had numberous problems with them. They have not been able to deliver on their promises. On many occasions I have been the victim of blatent lies from both customer service reps, and supervisors. They feel that it is better to lie and get you out of their hair temporarily rather than explain to you the problem (which I believe is lack of resources).
I've had numerous late payouts, my guess is about 30% are late (longer than the extended payout periods) Because of this I feel I have to contact them everyday to check on these late payouts, and along the way I've learned that each customer service rep has their own story about what is happening. On top of this the supervisors are evidently so busy that they can't call you back in a weeks time after promising to do it on serveral days within this week (Yes Clark, I'm refering to you).
To be more specific here are my 2 unresolved problems. For more than a month I've been in possession of 5 ** money orders that I can't get any money out of. My bank would not take them as they were unsigned by the purchaser (Betonline customer service told me to take them to the bank unsigned). I've also spent several days making trips to 5 local ** locations who all said they would not cash them. I got these money orders not on my request, but because my cashiers check request was not received within 15 business days after the cleared approval. This check was requested on June 29 and approved. On July 26 they issued money orders instead (I don't know why). Now today I can still not get anything for these Money Orders. The supervisor helping me keeps saying he will call me back, but evidently can't find the time to solve the problem or call me back and let me know why it is so hard to alternate the payments.
The Second issue that is still pending is that I've had a book to book transfer pending for 4 days now and they promise 2-24 hours. For the past 3 days the customer service reps have ensured me that it will be processed before the end of the day. Obviously it has not been done yet, and now they give a cold response that says send an email to email@example.com for any details on why your book to book transfer is on hold.
Does anyone have advice on how I can resolve this problem? Funny enought I'm flying into Panama City in the morning. Maybe it would be interesting if I actually paid Clark a visit.
I received an email from them a couple of days ago about all of the new and convenient payout methods as well as the higher limits and shorter wait times on these transactions. I had to laugh when I read this. They can't consistently get a cashier's check out in 15 business days and now they are going to try 7. Wow! In all seriousness I would not keep a lot of money in this account as you will likely have extreme hassle and difficulty to get it out when you want to. They are trying to snag new customers with big promises, but be aware their promises don't always come true. More importantly when they don't come true, their is no urgency to fix the problem's with there payouts dept.
