    Real Madrid vs. Juve

I like Real Madrid here. What is the group thinking? Anytime you can take RM at plus odds is a good thing as we saw against Sevilla. I only regret I didn't put more on it. That said, I could see a draw with the goal of blowing them out at home.

    1-2? 2-3?

    Thoughts......

No offense, but that doesn't mean much. Due is a matter of perception where I don't think they deserve to be playing. Juve is a very up and down team. I understand that they are the clear winners of their league, but true champions play through the season and doesn't drop games to much lesser opponents. The world would be disappointed to see Juve go through.

I think the trend of overs & BTTS continue between this 2 in the series.
As for winner in this 1st match I think Juventus deserve respect as they know they can damage Madrid here, in Madrid things will get tougher.
Looks like Madrid will play a 4-4-2 as you know this will allow Madrid to fight for the midfield toe to toe against Juve, I think fast breaks from madrid will prevent Juve from moving forward too much. Tevez is a mercenary he can careless who Madrid is, if Juve would have another 10 Tevez, am sure they can beat Madrid but since there is only one... My call is draw in this match 1-1 and then Madrid wins the next leg 2-1, 3-1.

This is heavy weights, Juventus has a few champions leagues to go before they can reach glory.....they will eventually, they are a giant in history....but Madrid has the best squad between this 2 now. Ancelotti know Juve too well. No surprises in my opinion.

odds are very speculative...i know Real will feel they have the quality to get that vital away goal and with a possibly championship deciding game against valencia before the 2nd leg i think Real come out to score...although they are missing the 2nd n 3rd goal scorers in bale&benzema...Under 2.5 for me honestly

I like Juventus to sneak a win here. Maybe another 1-0 with a Pirlo freekick. Don't think they will be too disappointed if it ends in a draw. The most important thing is not to concede any away goal.

    For people who likes stats.

Over the last decade, there have been 20 Champions League semi-finals, made up of 40 matches in total. Fifteen of the 20 first-legs have produced under 2.5 goals, 11 of them under 1.5 goals and four of them have ended 0-0. By way of contrast, just nine of the 20 second-legs have produced under 2.5, just six under 1.5 and just two have ended goalless.

allegri expect his side to get atleast one at home, they do not in any way shape or form want to travel to madrid after a draw.

I think this match will end up on a 0-0, 1-1 and 1-2 score. Juve are good in home and there is no doubt that they have already build their fortress at home which I think will be difficult for Real Madrid though I'm backing them to win but the absence of Benzema and Modric was one of the reason why the'll be facing a stiff win. Facing Juve's veteran player would be a difficult one for Ancelotti

Good insight boys. While I agree Bale and Benzema being out hurts, I think they have an incredible bench that doesn't get the same respect because they barely play. With them out, they have still been on a strong run. That said, they will allow at least one goal. By no means am I sleeping on Juve.

Pirlo is a midfielder for Juventus and arguably the best in the World right now.

When teams give him space and allow him to dictate the game, they usually lose.

Deffinitely not the best right now. World class for sure. He is too old unfortunately but still one of the best.
