Perfect exit plan for Saban now.

He's already hinted he's tired of the stress and pressure to be perfect every year and his agent told Texas he will leave Bama for them and only them.
    It's coming boys.

Man, what a horrid way to lose a game lol.

If I was Saban I was would just milk Texas for all of their money and then not give a shiatt. No one will say he is a bad college coach if he struggles at Texas. He has enough championships at Alabama to go down in the history books. If he really wanted to prove something he would go back to the NFL. But if not then just take the money and ride off into the sunset.

A dude telling guys to stay in his lane when he has never stayed in his lane ever, lol. Benny will find a random guys thread and talk shit for no reason like he did in my thread when I had never heard of that fukk before. I guess you have to do something during the day since you work the graveyard shift at a casino.

    Benny the fukking troll.

I don't give a fukk anymore, because I am a troll now too and that's why I no longer post sports picks. I'm the obese, bearded troll under the bridge.

Also, I find it real funny that Texas fans think that Saban going there will lead them to a national title like some miracle.

I don't care how football is the only thing you care about in that state and how much hype the country likes to give your high school programs. If Saban goes to Texas he WILL NOT WIN ANOTHER NATIONAL TITLE in any reasonable amount of time (let's say 5 years) and Smart will take over at Bama (or maybe even Spurrier, fingers crossed) and Bama will be in the title game in another 2-3 years. I don't think Saban leaves, but if he does it won't be that huge a deal.

Opie you good pples, but facts are facts. Unless you have another brotha like Young that you can find picking cotton in some field, you aren't winning another title anytime soon. Your current QB looks like a freak.

A Cowboys Super Bowl win is more likely than the Texans winning a National title in the next five years. Speaking of which, you guys need Emmitt back.

    the big hole in OP

There will be equal if not more pressure on Saban at Texas to win a Nat Championship than if he sticks around Ala for 3-4 more yrs and retires

This thread shows how little you guys really know about College Football. Saban is not going anywhere. Have you seen 'Bama's cream puff non-con schedule for net season? 08/30 - West Virginia (at Atlanta, GA), 09/06 - Florida Atlantic, 09/13 - Southern Miss, 11/22 - Western Carolina. The play Florida and at Tennessee in their cross-ove games. That is 6 games against teams that did not have a winning record this season. or are not FBS teams. They host Auburn and A&M. Only a game at LSU seems difficult at all. Do you really think he leaves that schedule to go to Texas, who has games scheduled against UCLA, Notre Dame, USC, plus the usual Big 12-2 suspects like OU?

No way. His wife is happy in Alabama. He is expected to win no matter where he goes. Why make it very difficult by going to Texas? He stays at Alabama.

That's a big negative there. He can lose 4 games with Texas and it would be no big deal. Losing one in Alabama is everything every single year. Texas hasn't had a team since Vince young. They will be happy to just be in the mix again.

He's going to use this as his main reason for leaving.
He made a terrible call by not kneeing it and got greedy and lost the game. Alabama fans are already raking him through the coals, they already forgot the dude has won 3 National titles for them....SMH.
Rumors are that Texas is banking heavily on Saban and throwing upwards of 10mil at him, there's also a rumor going around that he lost a huge sum of money on real estate investments.

He will win a national title in the first 2 years at Texas, easily!

Lakerboy, I would say coaching in college is harder than the NFL. Having a constant stream of new kids that require training every year can be very challenging.

Dude if he goes to Texas, it would be like setting NCAA 14 from Varsity to Freshman.
Texas has been ranked #20+ these last 4 seasons, but has gotten top 5 recruiting classes every year, except for last year. Not to mention they have a huge checkbook that could bring anyone that Saban would want on his staff!

Bob Stoops shitting in his pants at the idea of Saban going to Texas.

Kirby Smart jumping up and down at the idea of Saban going to Texas b/c he would be a top candidate for the Bama job.

Oh please, don't you realize this is the schedule of MOST SEC teams. Its easy to be 11-0, 10-1, 9-2 when you play 4-5 bottom dwellers and 2 FCS teams every year

As an avid fan of the overall sport it sickens me that the SEC can schedule the way they do and still keep 3-5 teams in the top 10 every year

If they're really the best conference they need to schedule 11 FBS teams and play on the road against quality opponents. Funny you never see an SEC team travel to Stanford or Notre Dame or any quality school that can give them a run for their money

Even if they choose NOT to travel bring in BYU, Georgia Tech or Navy and let them prepare for an option offense the week BEFORE they play LSU or Auburn, but no, the SEC will schedule a Chattanooga before a big game....such a farse

Season isn't even over yet and Saban is halfway in the Texas door not even 1 week after a loss. Easy call here.

I know for a fact, Texas fans aren't as zealous for wins as Bama fans. There is nothing in the whole state of Bama, while Austin has more things to do in the city than in most states. He'll be happier here at the 40 Acres guaranteed.

Wherever he goes I wish him the best. He is a hell of a coach and can turn around any program. Based on what I know, I don’t think he will leave. That being said, Tide is going to roll with or without him. Difference between ‘Bama and non-SEC schools is that football isn’t just a game… it’s life or death… and as a gambler I can appreciate that level of commitment.

no way. Will take at least two years to instill culture, his system, and get the right guys. I don't think it happens either way but would lay my mortgage it doesn't happen in yr 1 or 2

I will be the first to admit, Alabama fans are truly Hardcore fans, likely better than Texas fans. But overall, not sure if Saban really wants that so much. Look what happened with a single loss in Bama. Fans are killing each other and team personnel are getting death threats. Does Saban want to deal with this on a daily basis? What would happen if Saban lost 2 games in a season?
