Got ahead about 10k in 2 days, went around Vegas with my whole 2 brick bankroll in both pockets of my cheap surf shorts and got some awesome dances at Cheetahs. 2 days later and after a ton of epic fail double downs and splits I'm down 1k, numb, and sick. Ended the trip up about 3k which was in line with my ev. One thing I've learned about gambling is you have to like to win more than you like to play or you have no chance.

I won 8,825 points bringing my balance to 44,293 from the original 35,468.
I transferred it to the forum wallet. Transferred 293 back to casino. Lost the 293 and wanted to get it back.
Lost the remaining 44,000 points. Playing ~80% multi-hand blackjack and ~20% single hand.

I never bet out of control. As my balance decreased my bet size decreased. 400-700. Then down to 300 around 20,000 remaining. Then down to 200. Down to 100 around 10,000 remaining. All the way until I was betting $10, then $5, then $1. Only used basic strategy.

For every hand or two I would win, I would lose 6 to 10. Sometimes losing as many as 17 hands in a row. I kept checking the history. I don't know why I didn't stop after losing around half the points.

Thaddeus knows how important these points were to me. I couldn't afford to lose them. Say what you want that they are free points but he knows my situation. I really was counting on some SBR Store items. I'm glad I was able to repay you at least Thad.

If you guys dont believe this post just ask any mod or whoever controls the casino and sportsbook. Its true.

SOOOOO this is HOW those guys end up on the street.... I always take a bit of change with me and remind my friend to do the same when we go to a Colts game in Indy each year. The player was having fun and instead of cashing out goes back but this time the lady luck that giveth was in trhe taking mood. So he didnt exactly buy 35000 points and lose them, he won 35000 and then lost them. They call it gambling for a reason.

So in a sense, if these were dollars and not points like on any other sportsbook or online casino, in roughly 2 hours I would have lost $44,000

A point is not worth a dollar. Your 44k points was worth maybe $3k, tops. Can't feel good, but it also can't possible be the difference between paying rent, car loan, etc.
