Yeah.....ebay revealed the true value of these mass produced cards. Still, I buy a few cards every now and then for nostalgia's sake, like old Dale Murphy's. I even bought that "F*ck face" card a few years ago on ebay.

Yeah, pretty much worthless. I have a crate full of cards from the 80s in my basement. Keep meaning to pull them out and mount them in giant frames to display.

Wow, this thread brings back old memories. I used to always buy Beckett magazine to look up the values of my old hockey cards.

No, Joe D did not sign many autos. He was a very private and reserved person. His signatures dont go for as much as Ruth & Gehrig, but definetly valued higher than Mantle. What would hurt the value some is that it's on a "banquet program" and not something of baseball genre such as a ball, bat, jersey, etc. With that said, you should still have no problem getting mid to upper 3 figures.....if you have it authenticated first.

Last card I bought was a Ryan Howard rookie for $40, I hope I can sell it for half of that.

Best card I ever got was a Yao Ming autographed jersey card, limited to either 100 or 500. Think it was 500. Anyway, sold it for $500 cash a day later. If I had sold it on ebay, I could've gotten $1-2k
