Windows 10 released today? Best grinding laptop to buy with it?

Basically I'd like to be able to have like 10 tabs open, watch live video, etc.

Anyone have recco? Get one with windows 10 or another OS?

The laptop itself isn't particularly important. Good amount of ram is important.

Also, don't use Google Chrome. Use either Firefox or Vivaldi.

Google chrome is notorious for using a ton of ram and really slowing things down.

I like chrome better it's much more customizable then Firefox a much more powerful with applications

I say if you already have a recent machine you get a free upgrade to Windows 10 especially on Dell's

A little clunky/clink it first but it will all work out at looks kind of similar to Windows 8

Chrome is good and I have been using for years but recently learned of its downside.

If you are a user who likes to have a ton of tabs open then I would recommend fire fox. Nothing wrong with chrome, per sé for the average user. Just a little memory heavy for power users.

Glad to see the death of IE and the new edge- never used it anyway (except on my phone...yes I am one of the few who has a windows phone).

Ya I am with JJ. 5 tabs probably tops. Sharps are smashing the perfect numbers with firefox while we are logging in like a robot at some random time. Mo probably worth 10billion burgers by now.

DTP laptops are weird, get a tablet or a pc/mac for the house. No clue how people read data or do anything fun on a laptop without the fan blowing up or whatever. Ipad or a cheap PC imho.

I use a mac most of the time.

My windows tower still running windows 7 but I only use it for very CPU intense processes. Will update to 10 on weekend while drunk probably.
