Doesn't appear to be within the capability of SBR software. Emphasis on the top positions was briefly tried in the dailies in early 2015, feedback was largely negative; most people want participation awards.

This would be great. To add to this if you are not in the top 5 of the bad beat competition and you complain about a bad beat. Or rigged or anything that generally happens to everyone. Then you can't post for 2 weeks!

Same # of free points from SBR, but with 1 rebuy 1 add-on that actually have to be paid for by bet points. 10+10... so a PRO could play and win with zero spend as earlier, but a small investment would be necessary to increase one's chances. Of course, this would immediately double or triple prize pools - something I've been suggesting for a while now.

I mean, who wouldn't want Carseller to be able to rebuy?

6 max would be great but never happen, 6 10 player tables is somewhat feasible though

According to sam the software can't run tournaments with 6 handed tables. Besides, since when has SBR poker been about rewarding players that play the best? Not since I've been playing. SBR Poker is about quantity over quality, and who has been getting fisted by the software for so long that it quickly tries to even out the percentages by allowing them to hit everything under the moon.

Maybe not right away, but it would pick up. Give us a choice of how to lose the points - sports book, casino, prop bets with astro or POKER REBUYS. The end result is the same. But choices is GOOD.

I'm in favor of more choices and more variety, but if I'm SBR, I'm not thinking it's worth the effort. People wanted sit n gos, so SBR rolled em out...and barely anyone played them. Somewhat predictable, as they couldn't be played with the rollover points that drives 90%+ of the poker traffic...but that's my point: most people aren't paying points to play in a participation-structure, high-overlay high roller tournament; why believe they'd buy and rebuy at the level needed to double a prize pool? (For a 2500 point overlay and max 40 players, you're talking 4 10-point rebuys/addons per person average...average person isn't putting 40 points into a tourney, simply because they won't have the points for long if they do.

You could have some rake race or +/- contest in ring games where the top 10 or whatever winners for a duration of time receive a prize. I know they can track it because they use to give us the biggest winners of the day. Still keep daily tournaments in some capacity. Would drive a lot of action to the tables.

How about do a team competition similar to World Cup but instead of geographical regions just let the top 4 players during qualifying act as team captains.

Have them draft their team out of the remaining qualifying player pool. Maybe even allow them each to add a 'ringer' out of the players that missed the cut (based on poker skills, bribes, sexual favors- IDGAF why just let them add a random)

I would even prefer 'captains' be based on average cash instead of total points, who doesn't want to be the first round pick for Team Sinmeido?
