Agreed, he exposed his hand after checking the flop, then bets the turn imo.

Who is the best bluffer on the poker tour?

My two obvious choices would be Ludovic Geilich and Lex Veldhuis. When these guys sense weakness, they put the opponent to the test.

Huge multi-barrel bluff from ept 2016.

Full props, but u have to add in a few comments:

    1) River was really the 1st street where Guerrero's hand was less than "too good to fold."

    2) What hand is Allain repping? JJ is the only one I can think of.

1st tell. If Allain had JJ, he would have played the flop faster. Top-set on 3-heart board is good hand. But bet size may be closer to full-pot, not 40% of pot.

I like to learn about the game. The way I say it, 95% of hands play themselves. Every hand can be a new read. Had one other day that still has me thinking:

    * No-limit Hold-em cash-game ($1/3). Full-table, 10 players. Let's say each has $180 stack (roughly).

Pre-flop action: Limp $3, call, call (in cutoff), Small-blind raises to $15, I call $15 w/ TT in big-blind. The 3 limpers call behind, so 5 to flop.

    Flop = 256 (rainbow)

Flop action: Small-blind (PF-raiser) bets $30, into 4 other players. I call w/ Overpair - can't just give him the pot, although that's a strong bet into 4 players. Next 2limpers fold. Cutoff goes all-in! His bet was roughly $130 on-top.

Small-blind folds, I'm last to act. What does All-in have?? I'm getting more than 2-to-1 to call, holding an Overpair. I know this seems like an obvious call. And I'm not gunshy to call (normally).

The all-in player's bet went from $3, call raise (at $15), to $160 (empty the clip). That's SUPER-strong. That's not a bluff. What hands can he have?

Is there any chance he does that w/ a SMALLER overpair? 77, 88, 99. Possible, but his raise is telling the PF raiser that he can BEAT aces.

In my mind, I'm putting him on a narrow-range of Set or Straight. Not crazy to think he held 34 (suited) or pocket pair 22/55/66. I really think that's what he had to have.

Any other oddball combo-draws that he overplayed? 64 gives him top-pair + gutshot. 78 gives him str-draw w/ 2overs. 65 gives him top 2-pair, which is a hand where I'd have fair-value b/c of counterfeit outs.

I tank and then fold. I now think it was a bad fold, just b/c my odds were too good and he MIGHT NOT have had str8 or set. If his bet was much SMALLER, I call. If his bet had been much BIGGER, I would have folded for sure.

    What do u think?

Watch the triple barrel-bluff that DAniel Colman runs here:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQdu5dYINuQ

He's playing Ranges. UTG can't hit a monster too often here. BB can hold many 5x combinations.

Jungleman could be opening A5 suited there or AA (of course). Would have been hilarious if Colman stacked off and Jungle turned over a5 or AA.

Colman's play is very likely to work here vs a thinking player like Jungle. Jig would have been up if a 5 or A hits turnORRiver. Then his story would have crumbled.

Right on, Dough. Booth says "He can't call." Why not?

One thing about that hand. If the $$ amts were 1% of listed...then Booth's play is actually pretty standard. Re-raising all-in w/ the gutshot and thin outs? Not that unusual.

The HUGE $$amts mean u have to have steel in your balls to make decisions.

How about the hand where Durrr got Greenstein to fold AA and WSOP champion Peter Eastgate to fold trip dueces while Durrr just held top pair of Tens. That was a cool hand.

Dough, I've watched a good bit of CCarrel video. Very good player.

Carrel is a guy who will play hands in reverse logic, for sure. IE, I've seen him flat-call KK in unusual spots and have u play into him. And vice versa, he'll lead in w/ unusual holdings and then count on his reading ability.

One tip on how to read amateur players post-flop. When a scare card shows up post-flop, they shut down.

If they bet THRU the scare-card, there's a strong probability they are holding a monster. IE, an Ace that would seemingly stymie top-pair is a scare-card. If the amateur player continues to bet, that tells me they can beat Ax. That tells me they have 2pair+.

Isildur w/ nice bluff-catch on final hand of tournament:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5YAsJlrZxY

Big key to hand is how the Turn/River play out. You'd have to assume that Pavel raises Turn w/ Ax(hearts). That would give him top-pair + flush draw.

Two flush-draws on Turn...but which one did Pavel have? Pavel bluffs the River. Isuldir holds key card = King (hearts). Pavel shoving River sends off alarm-bells.

King (hearts) a key-blocker. So, it's harder to put Pavel on a hand-combo that doesn't include A(Hearts) or K(hearts). Isuldir has only 2nd pair w/ flush-blocker. He tanks and then Calls. Good call, but I don't many could make it.

Another key to hand is that Isuldir bet BIG on Turn. Most guys would check there w/ his hand. But he bet thru the Ace.

Pavel's call has to be a pretty big hand. What calling hands could he have? Could he have JT(Hearts) and be too strong to Raise? Would u raise there to charge diamonds?

Announcers make a pretty good point. For Pavel to call on Turn...he has to have a hand > small flush Draw. Has to be Pair + Flush Draw to catch proper odds. And some of those hands shove all-in.

On Turn...all Board cards are 9 or Higher. So, small flush draws unlikely. That means Pavel has to something have quite strong, like a combo-draw.

If he had a Straight w/o the flush-draw...I think he shoves Turn. Think of the calling combos he might have...when u remove K(hearts) and probably A(hearts) b/c of Turn action. There really aren't many. JT(hearts) might call b/c it's just TOO STRONG.

Pretty cool hand, the more I look at it. One reason Isuldir bets so big on Turn is that HE could rep flush if river is Ace(hearts).

Check out his face. He's perplexed by Pavel's river-shove. Props to him on making huge call.

Been pondering that hand some more. One thing Isuldir does w/ that sizable Turn bet. He wants to NOT cap his range.

Which player is more likely to have JT in his range? Isuldir is saying that he can have JT or a flush!

The Turn actions tell a big story, imho. Pavel calling say he has a much better than average hand. Figure out his calling range there. It has to be more than some weak 3rd-pair type hand.

On a wet board w/ two flush draws...I think Pavel shoves turns on several hands. JT w/o a flush draw goes all-in there (imho). Also top-pair w/ a Flush draw likely shoves heads-up, imho.
