Why is another poker download necessary, new computer?

I bought a new computer and wanted to play poker yesterday

I had the same problem. I was finally able to get a successful download.

I first logged into the forums.

Then I went to the poker subforum and downloaded the program using "save as" to my desktop.

I kept my browser open, making sure I was still logged on to the forums.

Then I ran the "exe" file on the desktop using "run as administrator".

You may have gone this route but I just thought I would share just in case you hadn't.
