villain 10j

preflop, villain and one others limp with 300/600 blinds; hero in late position pops it to 2600 (has about 35k in chips); blinds and other likmper fold. Villain calls. flop 10 9 2. Villain fires 2500; hero shoves...... villian mulls over his stack, looks at the clock (can rebuy in this trny), realized i've got him covered by about 8 k in chips (we're the two big stacks at table), makes statement of "I know u got me dominated," and right as he's about to fold, the guy, an older dumbass, says, "oh well, maybe i can catch up -- I call"

next card out ten -- he becomes overwhelming chip leader

from there, I manage to get back up to about 30k in the next two hours; only to have guy flop k hi strt on my set with q ten, crankin' my jacks, dont fill up.....

make it to the final 30, started with over 150 players (including fellow sbr member oneunder -- he lasted til around 40-45 plyrs left); i get moved to oneunder's prior seat as we break it to three tables left, hang in for a few rounds, blinds huge, have to let if fly with JJ, run into KK.... out about 27-28; money started at 15

six hours of grind and never really recovered after the jj beat by the straight....

cash game today, followed by 8 pm helicopter flight in/around the strip .... should be a helluva fun day

That's why I don't plat too many tourneys in Vegas, especially the Venetian. They have great structures and you get a lot of play but nothing tilts me more than spending multiple hours just to have your scenario unfold. Forget the buyin, I always feel like I lost more because i should be at cash tables felting tourists.
