I dunno if you are being serious, but I recently took some game theory related coaching from a very well known poster on Runitonce and he was tremendous. He charges 120 per hour or 90 if you buy blocks. He will also teach you CREV if you are interested which is a pretty sick tool for NL. He makes videos at poker strategy now, would be happy to get you in touch with him in you like.

    im not even paying 120/hr

poker coaches are biggest scam artists out there besides mechanics

guy wins at 2bb/100 at 50nl and thinks he can charge a shit ton per hour when hes not even making minimum wage on his own

im more looking for support group to bounce poker hands/sports bets with

if actually a winning player well then id offer coaching + share of profits

I know of a few skype groups & off the grid training sites.

many coaches have flaws of their own but are good enough to coach lower stakes. Are they worth what they charge? Most aren't but they have to make it worth their time esp if they will see the player they are coaching at their stakes one day.

There are hand analyzing threads here in the abyss of the bitching and rigtard threads. You should know by now who knows their stuff.

In that case I would read runitonce forums, PM people questions who seem to know what they are talking about. You can read the video comments section without a subscription and post questions there. That's a pretty great way to help from top players for free. They have a lot of high stakes winning nosebleed players making videos there.

As far as coaching in general being a waste of money I disagree. I've paid as little as 80 an hour and felt ripped off, and once payed 1200 between three guys for an hour to ask questions to a top player and it was a bargain IMO.

yea thats my points. someone with 2bb/100 at 50nl is like $200 but theyre prolly just running well anyway

i dont have 1200 to ask someone for a fukkin hour

i mean husng.com i watched a couple vids and they pissed me off big time.

i forget what the other site was called in the past. something to do with deuces. i dont know

balugawhale was pretty much a genius. scuba steve was his understudy or whatever you want to call. scubasteves prices were ridiculous and was barely a winner. when both would do a video together scubasteve had to basically guess what the correct play was and was often wrong (at small stakes).

im not paying CEO 10k/day money for a fukkin scrub like that.

So the purpose of asking for coaching only to shoot down the entire idea is ____________.

I played with both of them a ton of FTP before it went down. Baluga whale was great, scuba steve was a short stacker I think. You really don't need a coach IMO. There is so much good info our there now, I'd look into reading the forums at runitonce if you're serious about getting better. Twoplustwo is ok but can't hold a candle to those guys imo. Also Mathew Janda's book is good although pretty confusing with all the math. Will Tiptons heads up book is amazing.

FWIW I took a couple lessons with Matthew Janda, it was only like $85 dollars an hour or something and he is supposed to be one of the authorities now days. Anybody changing $200 an hour now days should be penetrating ashamed of themselves.

I found somebody else I liked much better for a similar price. I think he's a super smart guy, and probably worth the money. There was something in particular he wrote a bunch on in his book, which I couldn't understand and i started to obsess about, which was why I took the lessons. His approach is super math oriented fwiw.

I'd need about a twelve pack of five hour energy's to listen to the math bullshit for more than three hours...... I did love Joe Navarro's poker tells seminar at the wsop academy i won my way into....... some of that shit is so genius against amateurs... as for pros, most are void of em or sending false tells, making his info on tells much less valuable.... but when playing 1-3 or 2-5 in the louisiana/oklahoma casinos, or against tourists in vegas, they are awesome........

also found, as an "amateur" playing at the rio in june, my arsenal of "false tells" suckered many a pro into making a bad move........

Sounds interesting. I should pay attention more, lately I'm so burned out I'm usually screwing around on my phone instead of looking for things like this.
