SBR Poker Players Championship 2014: $5K + 120K points

How to play

• Download SBR Poker.
• Five daily tournaments Mon-Fri Oct 6 to Jan 2. 10AM, 3PM, 7PM, 9PM, and 11pm ET. *Tournaments on Xmas Day & New Years Day do not count toward total.
  
• Each tournament opens for registration at 12:01AM ET the day of. No shows will be ejected after 15 minutes.
• The top 40 players in points won advance to the Poker Championship on Sat. January 10 at 5PM ET. A round of satellites will be run the week before the championship, where an additional 10 seats will be given away.

Players ranked 41-75th: 6 advance
Players ranked 76-100th: 3 advance
Players ranked 101-150th: 1 advance

1st. $5,000
2nd. 30K betpoints
3rd. 22K betpoints
4th. 17K betpoints
5th. 15K betpoints
6th. 12k betpoints
7th. 10k betpoints
8th. 5K betpoints
9th. 3K betpoints
10th. 2K betpoints
11th. 1.7K betpoints
12th. 1500 betpoints
13th. 800 betpoints

Fine-print
1. One account per household. Players who operate multiple accounts or are otherwise restricted from the forum during the qualification period may lose their eligibility at the discretion of SBR.
2. Must be an SBR Pro by December 1 to receive satellite or championship password the next month. Must maintain SBR Pro status.
3. 40 players max per daily tournament, 11 points entry fee for all users. Limit of one per day.

If the top 40 advance to the championship, why would players 26 through 40 need to play in the satellite with 6 seats available?

I 90% won't put enough volume to be in the running but a better satellite would be 4 advance from 51-100th IMO. Also was the wording a mistake? "Top 40 goes to championship" but "6 from 25-50" wins a satellite?

Good work on putting this together again SBR anyway! And good luck to everyone. How much was needed to make it to the finals last year? I think I can play only twice per week max.

It says betpoints. If rollover is required I think it would have said "poker pts" -- unless its a typo, I would say no rollover

very top-heavy, second only gets roughly $1000 at walmart conversion rate.... should be 1st getting 27.5 to 30 percent of total $$$...... second should be around $2500 if first is 5k........ little skewed in that regard, but still a helluva score for whoever sbr picks to win it!!!!!!

Sorry donk, everyone knows that bobbo only participates in games with a minimum 600% overlay, so you'd have to pay him 5:1 on any hands he wins...wise decision on bobbo's part to avoid real poker, there's no other way he can come out ahead

Learn to read bobbo, learn to read...nino's tournament winnings and BROI are as I stated. I obviously didn't count freerolls or contest winnings which had nothing to do with tournaments, and nothing to do with how ROI is calculated in any universe, even yours.

Notice you're still oddly silent about the virtues of being on a leaderboard when called out on it by me, one of the many ahead of you on it. What happened? You seem to have thought this was a valuable measure of skill (despite what the rest of us knew to be true):

Fact is you're not on annual leaderboard, therefore losing our challenge. So obviously my poker play is more effective than yours.
