Thanks for beating me to the punch....

You have to sign up to try it.

We're not on a network; we bought a copy of a decent but small pokerroom. Will be interested in your comments and ideas for improvements.

On the hour freerolls and daily tournaments.

And always a place at a cash game table waiting for you ;-)

    Betonline. Because you can.

    Cheers!

Free rolls, easy to win to start your wad. Every hour on the hour.
And cash tournaments that you can actually win--yes YOU.
    Look forward to your feedback!

You can find freerolls at every site, real incentives to join are sign up bonuses, rakeback, rakeraces, etc.

We're turning the model on its head a bit post-BF.

We're a sportsbook, that you can join, and fund with V/** (with no fees, where else can you get that?), and get a great FP bonus (up to $900, nobody beats that) on that deposit, everytime (no one else does that). Turn that into cash and you can use that in our poker room. Or our casino. Or on horses. Or of course in the sportsbook.

We've added poker because, when our players could not get it elsewhere (and it was a well-serviced, super-competitive industry), they asked us for it. And, post-BF, there was a way that we could do that.

We may not be the place to play for poker for you. We're okay with that--we've seen what the arms race for poker players has done and produced.... been there, done that, and, no offense friend, not interested.

    Good luck out there!

    Cheers

Not necessarily, we just soft-launched this past Thursday, so we'll see how it evolves.

We have a few multi-thousand cash tourneys already.... nice thing is you can actually WIN these on our site.

well if 3k and 4k guaranteed tournaments are not decent to you then i don't know what is. i actually like the poker site so far but it can use some software upgrades and maybe a better graphics layout. other than that though i think with time it can turn into a nice poker room.

Which poker room? There are serious security concerns with the software that a few small rooms use.

Well back to stars and tilt and merge for you; enjoy. good luck.

suddenly I have over 1000 players already enjoying it (not so much on Omaha, sorry). not you, sorry. it's not "pretty bad." It's not bad at all. In fact it's the BEST option for real players in the US today. Name one better.... and mind you I've been delivering poker to sports bettors worldwide since 2002.

We're not for everyone. We're SPECIFICALLY built for US sports bettors who want to play cash games poker. and deposit using a CC. Doesn't work for you in mid-2011 in the US? It's not for you. It's not meant to be. Ciao.

This product will improve in multiple dimensions in the coming months. Probably won't ever be the poker site for poker heads. Don't want it to be--we've seen firsthand what that gets you. But it WILL be the BEST poker site for sports bettors in the US.

    Guaranteed.

And never a player left unpaid. Ever.

    Cheers

    Alex
PS thanks for loving us otherwise. our mature products ARE best in the US, so toowill poker be soon!

I jumped in on a freeroll to check it out. Seems to be a decent variety of games and more people than I expected considering how new it still is. I'm not crazy about the graphics, needs to be simpler and needs a way to turn off sound fx except for prompts.

Tried another freeroll and was not good.
*Software needs some work! Got disconnected, when I got re-connected could not find a simple way back to the table. I had to search my name from the entry list to find a way back. When I finally got back to the table it was auto-folding me. When I tried to Click "I am Back" or un-check auto-fold, it did not work, it kept folding me anyway. The auto-fold button never would un-check. Very disappointing.

Was nice to see freerolls starting every hour, especially since I did not have any funds in my account. Offered a variety of freerolls with various prize pools of $10 $25 $50 $100 $300 and one of these was starting at the beginning of every hour, and this was from 2AM-6AM here in the US

These tourneys seems like a great way to start building a bankroll. A bankroll you can use for both poker and sports betting which I find to be a great option when choosing where I prefer to play poker.

Some issues I had with the poker client on my computer was that when clicking through the tourney lobby it was a little buggy, seemed like it would help if I minimized the window and then restored it back. Sometimes the tourney lobby window froze and I would then have to close it. This seem to relate to the amount of CPU usage it requires. I had a hard time running other applications while it was running. It ran better if I had nothing else running while playing.

I found that I prefered the retro skin it seemed to run better and clicking buttons, changing bet size was alot better on the retro skin. Accessed it by choosing options->table skins from the main lobby. Also had an option for the sound in that same options drop down.

For me when playing online I have to be able to run more than just the poker client I am playing on so it would be nice to see it demand less of the CPU resources so it would run better when other apps are running also. I have this same problem with the SBR poker client so if you have no problem running it then this may run fine on your machine.

Ian the poker software says hero poker network if thats wat you meant.

After playing on the site more I find the software just takes a little longer to respond when navigating around, and when opening tourney lobby windows you have to give it a few seconds to load. With the amount of cpu power this is requiring though I would think it would not be so sluggish at times.
