Jesse Eisenberg in "The Social Network"

are you kidding me? this is going to be one of the worst years for the Oscars in a very long time. I can't remember a worse list of films up for Best Picture

Inception won't win best picture because it got snubbed on best director hard...nolan should be up there.. but ya that movie rocked. and JESUS FKIN CHRIST, The Social Network was NOT that good, and Jesse Eisenberg is a huge load of shit as an actor.

The Social Network was awesome, and so was True Grit.

But The Fighter would be my pick for best movie.

Kings Speech with 12 nominations, the one with the biggest chance to win is Best Actor, this movie would not even make the Oscars without Colin Firth. Yes the line is juiced like hell but it's not going to lose...

    Upsets:
Best picture Kings Speech. Globes gave Avatar the wrong award last year, Oscars gave Hurt Locker justice, same thing could happen here.

I'd like to say Rush wins supporting role but Bale has killed his body enough times to be given an Oscar.

True Grit will not win Best Picture ..... the academy doesn't mind sequels (i.e. The Color of Money), but are not high on remakes.

hating on the social network and the Eisenberg/Zuckerburg character??? Did you guys see the movie? You may hate facebook, but that movie and Eisenberg's performance was top notch and I believe oscar nomination worthy. One head scratcher for me was Jeremy Renner? I don't know about that one, he was great in the hurt locker, not sure about the town though. Even for a supporting role, he wasn't even on screen that much in the town.

Since last year they expanded the Best Picture category to include more movies. I'll tell you which movies on that list have no chance : Toy Story 3, Inception, Winter's Bone, The Kids are All Right and 127 Hours.

The most realistic winner is The King's Speech.
