Goldvictory stole my winnings- 459 euros

    Hi,

I have opened an account with Goldvictory 2-3 weeks ago, provided all my documentation and details... Placed a few bets and wanted to withdraw my money to see how quick it is. I have now been informed that I have committed fraudulent activity and my account has been locked.

Reason given multiple bets from different account. I have got no friends whom I know have even heard of the company. I cannot prevent someone from placing a bet on the same event that i am placing , they have given me no reason whatsoever why they have done it.

I have two laptops one i use at home other at work , I probably have placed one or two bets from work. Even that will not cause a conflict as we are only 6 guys on that server and line and none of them gamble.

I called Goldvictory , the guy informed me its under investigation,,, by the time i reached home i see an email saying that they have enough evidence and hence closed my account prior to that I had full access to my account. SO within an hour, account status changed from under investigation to being satisfactorily considered a fraudulent account even when i was told fraud department was closed.

This is the last time I am going to deal with any MALTESE book.

I know experienced posters over here will not see that as a smart move and I should have stayed with A rated books, but the odds on O/U in football were good so I got tempted.

Since sending emails back and forth they have refunded my original deposit of 100 euros minus 4 euros citing transaction fees. Still the remaining money is what they are not willing to return.

I have filled in the complaint form , any advice or help is most welcome and to everyone who thinks I was an idiot made a mistake,I openly admit should have never gone into that book.

    Regards

    Raul

First off, Welcome to the SBR forum

i can't say I'm surprised this new Swedish turnkey book would lock you out of your account at all. Then again Euro type books seem to do it all the time. I'm assuming their is more to this story, however please fill out this complaint form and one of us will inquire to them on your behalf.

The founder might be greek, but it's still a Swedish turnkey provider (Net Entertainment) I do believe.

Ah sorry..but the books just buy the services of Net Entertainment, but the book itselfs decides to close account. Also its only the casino part they buy. Just thought by bringing in Swedes in the post, I felt you put some dirt on their names. Net Entertainment is generally solid I guess, they cant help a book acting this. On the other hand, I think its more to this story then explained in this thread.

Net Entertainment delivers casinos to solid books like Unibet, Betsson, Nordicbet, and has always been considered serious in Scandinavia.

    Diamond,

Goldvictory and Begawin basically were granted licensing by Net Entertainment back in December, 2007.

What do you know about the owners of Begawin? The last news I was reading was that the owners preferred to stay anonymous.

Sorry dont work within the business anymore, so no knowledge of Begawin.

But I seem to be missing something? I used to work a bit with Betsson. Net Entertainment is only a provider of casino software. They provide license to that software yes, but its the LGA in Malta that provide the betting license. The betting license is based on several meetings where representatives from the LGA and the bookie meets up and discuss different issues. If the company meets the requirements, they are granted a license.

Net entertainment has nothing to do with the bettinglicens. You can of course say that Net Entertainment should not sell their software to suspicious companies, but Goldvictory is quite new so cant blame them for selling.

But once again, Net Entertainment is just an entertainment (casino) provider

Right... Honest mistake on my part (I had sportsbooks on my mind for some reason), and my apologies. Casino is correct.

Here was the press release on these two establishments.

    Thanks for welcoming me DAN.

I am very interested in hearing to what they have to say i.e. the reasons for closing my account. As so far I have only been told this

    "Dear Sir,

The Fraud department is satisfied that we have evidence of fraudulent activity according to LGA standards. Should you not be satisfied by this then you have the right to contact them and when this is the case we will also forward the authority the evidence we have accumulated.

Until then the account(s) will remain locked.

    Regards,

and I can assure like i said I havent got any more accounts with goldvictory, nor I am asking anyone to place bets from their accounts. I have given all the accurate information and am willing to provide any other information that is required, howver my response might be delayed due to the time difference so apologies in advance.

    Hi Raul,

We have your complaint. In the email communications, did they suggest wha tthe issue was? Have you asked for the evidence?

Thanks for this post. I was going to register at goldvictory, I'll stay away now. From what I've heard, the owner is Greek.

    Bill,

All they said was I am under investigation of multiple accounts/bets and then when i called them and ask what it was they couldnt give me a straight answer saying "fraud department" is closed. By the time i reached home i had an email in my inbox suggesting that they have enough evidence to close my account and if I am not happy I am free to contact LGA.

I have since had few emails and the responses are vague, me getting harsh on emails didnt help, I copied LGA on some of the emails as to how they are behaving still that didnt make them change their attitude.

If they show me that i am in breach of any of their T&C's i can make peace with that but nothing from their side.

    regards

Yes sir the owners of that book happens to be "greek", but no affiliation to the Spiro family of books if thats what you were referring too.

Maybe this press release will give you more insight on this matter:

Malta and East European operators will soon be online

Swedish turnkey provider Net Entertainment has signed two new license agreements with Goldvictory Ltd. and an undisclosed Eastern European operator for delivery of its CasinoModule management and gaming system. The new licensees will bring to 16 the number of operators signed up for the system this year.

Gold Victory Ltd. is a fast growing gaming operator licensed in Malta, a NetEnt spokesman revealed. The firm is primarily targeting the Greek market and aims to launch during the first quarter of 2008.

In addition, Net Entertainment has signed a license agreement with a gaming operator that addresses the eastern European markets. The operator, who at this point prefers to remain anonymous, offers betting online and offline throughout a considerable number of betting shops. By signing an agreement with Net Entertainment the operator will be able to offer clients a wider product base.

"The online gaming market is becoming increasingly competitive and the operators are today very cautious when selecting vendor and platform" says Johan Öhman, CEO of Net Entertainment. "Net Entertainment's CasinoModule is by many considered to be the market leading solution for online casino gaming. Continuous investments in R&D ensure that our clients obtain spearhead technology and innovation. The 16 new agreements that have been signed during 2007 underlines our competitiveness and we see a continued strong demand on the market."

CasinoModule is described as a complete gaming platform that comprises a large selection of browser based games as well as a powerful administration tool. Customers are offered a system solution that is adapted to each customer and is easily integrated with their existing websites. Net Entertainment licenses the product on a royalty scale based on the revenues the product generates.

I wonder what is the point of someone doing this and why should you care? If he bet the same thing on two accounts, its just like he would bet twice as much with one acocunt, what is the problem?

Looks like I was spot on here. Its a shame if this forum is still developing into a place where people are misusing the resources of the SBR staff.

I am not misusing the SBR resources, you jumped to the conclusion what the other poster said without even listening to my side of the story.. SO you are saying that if i got angry and said " What the **** is going on" considering they accusing me off fraud and not providing any evidence is not good enough to make me agitated?

If the poster who is from goldvictory can say how many bets and what amounts they are talking it will clarify everything to you ...

Lets see if they are willing to provide any evidence now its on this public forum...

Maximum bet i placed is 100 euros if i wanted more amount i could have placed more or is that too difficult to comprehend.. THanks Shasso for stressing that point... Why will i do that

They cannot be dictator like and decide to keep the winnings if i got irate over the phone once.. not repetitive just once.

    To Raul:

The fact of the matter is that when you are asking someone to believe you against the odds, insulting them rarely gets a favorable response. As smearing their company's name on a reputable forum I might add...

Now, if you will write Support an email apologizing for your behavior on the phone and ask them to review your case, I will personally ensure that the relevant department does so at the earliest opportunity and that it gets in touch with you in order to find a solution that is fair and transparent.

Having said that, Raul, the ball is in your court.
    is this email/message from goldvictory?

You are asking me to apologize for what??? I havent done anything wrong..... THis is not a childs play that say sorry and we will help you.. You should have been fair and transparent in the first place not after SBR is involved..

I should have been listened to in the first place and that wouldnt have made me angry and feel insulted for something which i didnt commit...

Still I am willing to play the childs game. The lady i spoke to over the phone I said to her then " I am not swearing at you and I am not saying that you are doing something wrong, but your company has accused me off something that I didnt do and will not tolerate it"...

Having said that if you still want me to say sorry... Here it comes

"I AM SORRY" for you accusing me of fraud and not dealing with me in a fair and transparent way in the first place...

Again "I AM SORRY".. that i got angry at being insulted, but genuinely am apologising to the lady i spoke to if she got offended and took it personally. I didnt mean to do that...

Now that is out of the way lets make it fair, transparent and quick shall we, so that we can move on with our lives.

I appreciate your help. I have emailed on numerous occassions but they havent responded to any of them and whenever they did they mentioned that they have sufficient evidence that I was involved in fraudulent activity but despite me asking they didnt give me any proof.. If you are trying to assist me then please tell me what to write and I will do that too... But since i got SBR involved I want them to be constantly aware of the situtation as I have been helped by them in the past.
