going big on this match as this is the type of player woz struggles against and the fight mugs has shown has been very impresive cant see her not covering hc

i said i took gamecocks and kentucky with +pts so won big yesterday, got lucky with kentucky i admit but im betting all that money won on this as when you have the chance you go for the kill against your book, going for it as mugs broke pliskova pretty easy but lost 7-6 7-6 since then she has played alot better and plskova alot better than woz

Well she leads the head-to-head 3-1 indeed (2-1 on hard court) so I would even bet on her to win the match @2.50.
Mattek prob win, she's in good form, more variety. Itll be first strike tennis whoever gets their power shot off first, but Mattek is in the form where she handles moving and hitting better, I watch these matches. Unless she plays worse today which is possible and players pull bad performances out of nowhere sometimes then she could lose, but otherwise. As far as Woz/Muggy what matters is how theyre playing right now, the past matters less. Yes she looked better last match, but had this been the match before last Woz would win, McHale had her but McHale is a mental midget who couldnt get the ball over the net on her serves in the 3rd set.

+3.5 is a dangerous bet in tennis, you never should go big on a +3.5
because 2 breaks is -4 games.
also current form favors Woz, along with the slower surface (Miami considered
the slowest hard court in major tour) and historic Woz success there.

bookies voided the handicap games, but lots of them paid the ML (pinnacle, betfair for instance)
tab etc only pay if match is complete, i can only imagine mugs not retiring right away as she was close to winning set so if she wins 1st and retires ml mugs would still lose?
Yes I believe Mugs should still be counted as lost if she won the 1st set and then retired, which would be the worst scenario for bettor. But it should be very rare that a player has won the 1st set and then retired afterwards. It is common to see a player has lost the 1st set and then retired only.
