That's a terrible barometer to measure discipline. Seriously? The Russians also raped their own women as well during WW1 and 2, there was no discriminating. It was one of the many atrocities of war. Russians were going in with nothing but their bare hands against superior German machine guns in ww2. Not even a knife to a machine gun fight.
