    RIP Chuck Barris

    Died early this morning. Most of you are probably too young, but he created The Dating Game and The Newlywed Game. Later created ( along with Chris Bearde ) and eventually hosted The Gong Show. John Barbour was the original host, but took The Gong Show too serious. Chuck took over and the rest is history.

    Chuck, Gene Patton and Milton DeLugg are all Jumpin' at the Woodside again

    Barris was perfect as host of that show. Loved it when they had somebody awful on stage and the giant hook would just pull them off while the celebs were falling all over themselves slamming the gong. Classic TV!
