    Turning 5k into 1 MILLION

    After a solid 5 years of ups and downs betting sports and following other sports "gurus" and service plays only to break close to even, I have finally managed to break through on my own over the past 2 years of sports betting on the Las Vegas Strip. I have decided to dedicate 5k of my bankroll to a 1 million dollar challenge for myself. The challenge is simple. Turn $5,000 into $1,000,000 in a calendar year beginning today. There will clearly be some high variance involved. I am setting aside a small portion of my bankroll for this and I do not recommend following for the full amount unless you are comfortable with a 5k loss. The majority of my large wagers will come during the NFL season so the goal until then is to selectively pick my favorite plays from now until then to build our roll and go from there. The majority of my NBA will be dogs with points and dogs on the ML. The Majority of my MLB will be dogs on the ML and heavy favorites parlayed together. Along the way will be a couple futures bets and the occasional college bet. Good luck to anyone who chooses to follow!

    I think you need to understand bankroll management. Why not turn $50 to $10,000? It's the same return. Another thing, it will take you a lot longer than a year to accomplish +200 units in such a short time. You would have to constantly over play your bankroll and you will never, ever make it. With a 5K bankroll, for you to have a chance to survive, you would have to make 2% plays which would amount to $100 plays. Even if you're good, say hitting 54% of your wagers, at 3 plays per day, would net you around 45 units counting the vig. That's betting every day, at an average of 3 plays per day. Not even close to the 200 units you would need. Betting anymore than 2% of your bankroll will leave you broke eventually, that is a promise.

    So, how about this. Take that 5K, give yourself 23years, hitting at 54%, and you will get there. Good luck, It's never been done that I know of just for the simple fact that you will be severely limited at the windows after awhile. It you pull it off, you will more than likely be the first to do it in all of mankind. Good luck.

    not only can this be done, but I have already done it, and I'm sure some others here have done it also, but on a smaller scale. From first week of January I turned $2.00 into $500 in two months and not on longshot parlays. That is 250x, this 5k to 1m would be 200x.

    You will never survive long term betting like that. It's not even mathematically possible. If you did do it, you will be broke eventually. Not a question of if, but when.

    I have done 20 To 10k a few times def possible hard but I did it within 3wk time def a lot of luck involved lol gl to you

    Probably easier to achieve if you have a huge bankroll and use algorithms to find the edge. That way you make like 20 plays a day with a mathematical edge on everything. Obviously won't win all but better chance to have a solid return and high volume.

    Are you making these bets in Vegas? Just out of curiosity, what is the largest wager you can place in Vegas on a spread or total? I would assume it could only be for an NFL game? Even if you were laying 30-50k a game, I would think books wouldn't take your wagers if you were hitting a high percentage. Regardless, I hope you find success and I will be tuning into this thread.     I've turned 48 bucks into 10,000 in a little over 3 weeks so you can certainly blast off with 5k. I would get those wagers down to 5 percent max. I'll be rooting for you.
