Man thats a BOLD call. I know they are much improved but Finals? Their best defender has barely played all season aka Avery Bradley.

Celtics aren't going to the finals, they'll never get past Cleveland.. Probably won't get past Washington either.. I might even pick Atlanta or Toronto in series as well against the Celtics..

Celtics have a good team but are a few years away..

LB, Stevens legit. Fuggin` awesome to have him. Play hard and as consistent as any other team in this era.

    They are an inside/rebound/protector away.

Still have a boatload of great picks and some cap flex. NEXT year could dethrone the King if they don`t fix their issues.

All that being said, hope you are right.

Yes, however it doesn't take much. Guy has always been really good. I think Butler saw their best days under him.

Cavs don't have the depth. They will get burned out in the regular season. Why do you think James is crying?

Lebron is crying because he thinks this team doesn't have enough fire power to beat the Warriors in the finals... He's not crying or worrying about getting out of this weak ass Eastern Conference..

Boston might need Anthony although he kills every team

Pretty sure Ainge/Stevens had very little interest in Melo. They definitely wanted Love, and had some interest in Boogie.

Good chance of #1 pick in draft holding Nets pick. Nets still paying for Pierce/Garnett....

They can't beat the Cavs unless there is a major injury.

You don't believe that do you?

It's very hard to make 3 straight finals. Boston have the cavs a good series two years ago.

Celtics aren't in the Cavs league. You make a thread like this every year saying a clear favorite will go down. Celtics ain't beating this team 4 times in a series.

They aren't in their league? Check the standings
Boston is better than the raptors. Toronto won 2 games vs cavs. Which team did I make thread about last year? I forget.

You're citing regular season standings? Raptors finished a game behind Cavs last year. They never had a shot of winning that series.

Raptors or Celtics could upset Cavaliers. It's if they can win in Cleveland is the big question.

It's going to be a trilogy with the Warriors and Cavs.

Cleveland it's #1 in the East still even without Shumpert and Smith.

Those guys will help when they come back.

Please do not act like you don't make this kind of proclamation every year, in nearly every major sport.

Better than what? Did you say Pats had no chance of winning this year or even making the Super Bowl back during the season?

We are taking about NBA now. Why you changing the topic? Which NBA longshot did I pick last year?

It's possible but they have an easier road. The East is better than the West now.

LB you're limiting this to just east last year. For years you have made longshot picks mid season in all sports. That's exactly what I said from the getgo here. You took that as a shot but it wasn't meant that way.

I'm not digging through the archives to find various predictions. Anyway we're getting off topic here. Celtics can give Cavs a good series but can't beat them.

I hope so. No clue on the NBA. Don't watch until Playoffs, or a random bet.
