I meant I saw today's date and that the day is 24 hours long so article written before announcement on same day. Either that or incompetence since that's a major omission.

I don't care about gains... I just don't want to lose my ass. Thanks.
i really don't know enough to give a informed opinion but my thought after glancing at btc now and again is that ... it likes the number 870 ... a low low to get worried would be in the 600-7, but that's where I'd prob buy a few..

I sent 4 bitcoins to coinbase from my wallet the other day when it was around $1060/per and like a moron didn't immediately send to my bank account. Now I'm playing the waiting game again and hoping it ticks back upward.

This market is truly impossible to predict. If you watched the meltdown before the last one you notice that after a massive run up to $1150 it fell hard to $750. Normal trading logic would say it will find its support, like $750 and work into a range while it heals. Instead in marches back to $1050 before this mini slide.

Where we are at now is to see if it can hang in there in the upper $900's, base a little, and begin to march back to $1050. As of now it appears to be holding. These violent sell offs usually have a few after shocks so its a little risky to jump in there now. If it holds a couple of days over $960 then I would think this move is over and we are headed to higher ground.

China takes too much credit for bitcoin moves. At one time 98% of the trades were done on exchanges in China. This was due to no fees and wash trading. They made it look as though everything was done in China when it was false.

Now that there's a trading fee in China, real stats are available. The most trades occur on Bitfinex (10.41%). The highest in China is OKCoin (8.12%)

In order: Bitfinex, OKCoin, Kraken, BTC-e, Bitstamp, GDAX, BTCC, Poloniex.

The march up has been impressive.

Every little drop creates a mini feeding frenzy and when the price rises their are not many sellers. Looks to me we go right through $1100 before we find a trading range.

Bitcoin has now been trading above $1,000 for more than seven days, enjoying its longest-ever stretch above this key psychological level and providing traders with new evidence of support at this price, CoinDesk data reveals.

Odds Say The Winklevoss Bitcoin ETF Has Just A 36% Chance Of Approval

The proposed Winklevoss Bitcoin Trust ETF (NASDAQ:COIN) is one of the most widely anticipated ETFs of all time, but according to the betting odds, it only has a slightly better than 3-to-1 chance of getting approved by regulators.

What's crazy is watching this number move. Early January annalists were coming in with 15-20 percent approval rating. I started following bitmex's numbers a few weeks ago and have watched there numbers which come's from people betting on approval of sec passing etf go from 31 percent up to 38.3 percent as of earlier today. It's crazy the swing upward when early on everyone's saying there was little or no chance for approval.

In the absense of any new info to explain it, I'd be betting against it as a move based on hope.

The speed of this rise feels bubble like.

Might be time to take a bit of profit and if it falls and holds, use it buy back in low 900s

Am a bit afraid of Nitro if/when the fall happens

They could drag their feet on W/D and Players could lose a lot by waiting

Might be time to lower balances there

It's possible there are some betting on hope. I haven't put too much stake in that cause your talking over a 20 percent increase. Not to mention when the increase for approval really started to take off from 31% was right after winklevoss brothers came out with a larger offering bumping it to 100 million adding 9 million shares and max price for share slashed from 65 to 10. Why would they do this one month from the decision date?
