Alright guys listen to this fortunate break.Last night I was on the final leg of a 7 leg parlay that paid $4k.
All I needed was Citadel (+8.5) to cover against UNC Greensboro. Citadel was down 20pts halfway through the 2nd half and things were not looking good. With 1:12 remaining the bulldogs are down 15pts and I'm ready to go to bed.... then preston parks hits two 3pt shots in less than 10 seconds...down 10pts ... 42 seconds remaining.I'm refreshing m.espn.com game on my phone like an animal... waiting for the nail in the coffin. Well I got it... 96-87... lost by a freaking 1/2 pt.So I check the box score and go through the final minute of plays. I'm wanting to see what play killed me... and then I notice a slight error in the espn boxscore...Game ends, but UNC got a point???? OddSo I go to twitter and search citadel basketball and uncg... and see the final score as 95-87....Turns out the ESPN scoring had made an errorI won!!!!!!!!Not sure what the lesson is, but I have noticed scoring errors before with espn... so maybe if you have a something riding on a game and you can't watch live... follow the game on multiple sites...
