Been saying this my entire life about baseball.

At least with baseball there aren't any other sports so having it last so long gives a sport to watch any day during the summer.. NBA runs at the same time as NHL and NFL for half their season, then MLB for a few months. No one would miss it if it ended in April instead of their playoffs that feel like 4 months.

Extended calendar-wise but still 82 games. Which is good actually, even more of a reason not to rest players with about 10 more off days during season.

There's not really much the NBA can do other than extend the season calendar incorporate more rest days. It's unfortunate that they do it for their one game in Memphis all season.

I think they should rest their starters against the raptors as we will get to see them beat us in the playoffs anyways.

College basketball is different guys are younger, season way shorter, and they don't travel on b2b days. When the real season starts soon, most teams play 2 or maybe even 1 game a week.

Astro gets it, I can't figure it out either. Same 2 or 3 teams are the only ones that have a chance. I said 2 or 3 because it all depends where LeBron set up his latest dream team.
