So can I add 3k to my circle account and still send that 3k to airbitz or Blockchain?

Nope....can't send anymore. Another option to buy for US customers is from snapcard.io They no longer accept btc...only purchase and sending it out.

So we can buy and send btc, just that we can't receive btc? I was under the impression we could not send btc any more

Circle not doing bitcoin transactions any more

Just found out today, very frustrating, Circle used to be my go to for deposits and withdrawals. Anyone else have any good instant one like circle for sending bitcoins(I already have coinbase but its not instant so i try to avoid it).

I suppose #2 is not true.

    Bitcoin account options

Our new focus is on this next-gen blockchain technology, rather than bitcoin. But you have options!

    • Sell your bitcoin and cash out instantly
    • Move your money to any bitcoin address
    • Continue to buy and sell bitcoin with our preferred partner, Coinbase
    • Hold your bitcoin with us (it’s fully insured)
    • Convert to your local currency and take advantage of our person-to-person payment features

I am not sure I understand...if you aren't using an exchange linked to your bank account you will need to find another way to cash out BTC (coinbase, bitpay card, etc.) or alternative payout from book (i.e., 5Dimes check)

You can use coinbase the same way you use circle...although I think they have more fees.

I agree. Nobody uses bitcoin the way they thought they would. The average person doesn't even know what bitcoin is. It is used mostly for illegal activities. I think that and the fact the feds are investigating coinbase has a lot to do with it. It won't be long before the U.S government gets more involved.

No..you can NO longer send from your circle to ANY bitcoon address...only to a linked bank account. You can only send to person and person and they would only be able to cash out via linked bank account. Basically its venmo now.

I don't have any funds in my account to test this, but their email today clearly says you can "send money to any bitcoin address" allowing you to send balance money to coinbase to continue using BTC as you have in the past. Post #40 I posted directly from their email...bullet point 2

What about snapcard.io? It appears you buy and send from there (just not receive). I have a $1500 daily buy limit there and used them once....says I can go to a $5000 daily with more verification. I just think it takes a while to get deposits to clear before you can send them out. Worth a shot if that is your only option.

You bought Bitcoin or usd? Try selling to a btc address. That would be awesome if you could still do that.

Another option....you can earn (buy) BTC through purse,io at about a 15% premium. Basically it works like this....people find stuff on Amazon that they want to buy...they put it on their wish list and then fund their purse.io account with BTC for a discounted amount off the Amazon price (like 15%). Anyone can go in with USD and buy the items and in exchange have that amount of BTC released to them. I believe you can buy (earn) as much as you want. They call it earning...it is just an exchange in my mind similar to localbitcoins. I am not sure how it compares on % premium though. You can then send the BTC in purse.io directly to a BTC wallet.

Just an FYI. I have used purse.io to get stuff this way cheap off Amazon for people that really want BTC. It is legit....no way to charge back and the BTC must be pre-funded. You just have to wait until Amazon delivers the items for the person to release the funds (like a bank receipt picture like localbitcoin users require). Obviously if you have a Prime account with Amazon that reduces the shipping delay a lot and eliminates your need to pay shipping. Also, as you know, the price of BTC can fluctuate so you might get less/more BTC than you expect by the time the product arrives to the customer and they release the funds.
